I was so hyped to jump into the He-Man Universe that I bought it only to find out from others that almost all of the scenarios were not soloable. My friends were not so excited to pop into the He-Man Universe with me so I ended up selling it a few weeks ago, never even opened it. I was really hoping they would make it more solo friendly during this gamefound funding using ideas from BGG but they opted not to.
I hope the new campaign offers a fix pack for the original campaign backers. If you go to BGG there is a massive thread detailing the misprints which there are a lot. One of the worst was the Castle Greyskull mission where the solo mode was clearly not tested cause they forgot to add all the start points

The solo play is adequate. Unfortunate you did not get to try it yourself. And with the number of characters, gameplay will be diverse.
Would be cool to see them somehow allow for more scenarios to officially be played solo with the AI Controller. That would be nice!

They will add the corrected misprinted cards if you get any of the addons like the Jitsu/Syklone one.
