- Installing the VOSWITCH JL800 on my Jeep Gladiator Overland edition was SUPER EASY!!! Very clear instructions, good quality product, looks good and makes wiring accessories a breeze!
FYI: If you don't have a manual transmission, there is a plastic plug in the firewall right where the clutch linkage would be installed for a manual transmission (under left side of dash close to the fender). Pop it out and you'll have a inch and a half sized hole that makes it super simple to route wires from engine bay to cabin area. Just drill/cut appropriate sized hole in the plastic plug, route your wires and reinstall the plug. Done!
No messin' with windshield required.
Looks good. I ran the control harness inside the plastic pirce that houses the main harness. Just cleans it up a little more.
Thanks for info just picked one of these up today... Going to use it for my emergency lighting on mine.
Nice! I really like mine. Hopefully, the video was enough to make your install easy!
Great explanation sir. Thank you.
The only way this could be any better is by having a link to the product. Great video. fyi you can also run the wire for the controler thu the firewall on the drivers side.
Thx man! The video was a last minute decision when I went to install it, otherwise I would gone the extra mile producing it…lol. But, I didn’t add a link, because I figured if you found the video you’d probably already found it and searched for an install video as a helper. But yes! You can use the firewall hole to come through as well.
How would you go thru the fire wall!???
@@destineyleigh2848 there is a rubber plug in the firewall were other wires are coming thu.
Windshield won’t budge…I have a sky one touch roof…any advice?
@@Marie-kj3xf Interesting? 🤔 No, I don't have any knowledge of that specific application. But I know you can feed the control wire through the firewall below and then come up the dash inside the vehicle too.
What are those white clips? Very handy.
They were just some wire clips I got from NAPA. They had 3M tape on the back to mount them. Cheap and easy and still looked decent
@@stiggs4144 Thanks!!
Thank you
You put the stickers over the handle?
Yep…right on top👍🏻
