Thank you all so much for watching this video. If you need help with CNC electronics, check the description for helpful links. I will be back with an ARM tutorial very soon.
I'm glad to see you doing more videos on the Pokeys. I bought it a while back and there was more videos needed then , Great work and I hope you will do more. Perhaps with mach4.
That would be cool, but it is actually a pretty easy modification to the Fab Pro machines that I have on the website. The all aluminum frame machine is better suited for plasma. It would be cool to have spindle and plasma on the same machine too... hmm...
Hello I bought a table I have been using it a year . It’s proma . I have fault I can’t get it to connect to the machine . I tried holding shift and pressing connect but it won’t connect . But when I bring in a part and press play it works on the screen . But the table dose nothing . Any ideas please
Very nice video. Question: it should be possible to use the internal ADC of Pokeys57CNC (pin42). I have an external HAL-sensor for reading the Plasma Voltage. Is there an example how to set it up? Then no ecternal THC controller is needed. Thanks Herman
@@funone8716 The fan isn't the real cost. Sure, the fan is cheap, and I have a lot of them in stock. The real cost is modifications to the case, the time involved. This client can do this if he wants, or he could have hired me to do it. He didn't. If there was already a large hole in his cabinet, I would have gladly slapped a fan against it.
@@Joud_algr The ethernet connection should have little to do with the unrelated connection to pins 8, 11, and 12 on the controller. Did you happen to try the USB connection and find that it works, switch to the ethernet, and fail?
@@PatrickHoodDaniel yes it work fine with usb but doesen't with the ethernet, because the thc in the pokeys57cnc is a kind of key mapping with mach3, but it works only in the usb mode .
Are you using double sided tape to secure HV terminal block ? Is this a normal industry practice or something you hacked together ? I'm no expert in panel building but looking at experts working in the filed wouldn't it be easier to mount everything on a single gear tray outside the box and then just place it in once all the wiring is done ?
Yes, this stuff is crazy strong. The customer actually used this before and I had a very difficult time getting the components out. Now, the components can be easily unscrewed and removed if needed. There was no need to ground everything since each component has a connection to earth ground and is isolated.
Hi there just curious as to why you didn't go with the pokeys thc was really hoping one day you did a video using pokeys thc as I've really struggled with it. It's seems to jolt all the axis when it's meant to move the z axis. Really do appreciate your videos so much
I wish there was a way to get usb cnc (red board ) or some other simple usb board to operate with THC up and down inputs. THC units that do direction and steps to the stepper drive are making me loose my hair. I guess I will get a 57CNC AND TRY AGAIN.

Yes, I will have many more videos coming for Mach4 and pokeys57CNC.
It would be really cool to have this as an official upgrade to your new greenBULL machines!

This is exactly what I need. I will have to replace my interface card with a pokeys57 as the interface card I have doesn’t support THC for my plasma
Excellent! Good luck with your project!

Please do a video explaining the Proma THC settings. Thanks
I don't have that system as it is in the customer's shop. When I get another Proma THC system to work on, I will definitely do this.
No fan cooling needed in the case?
He wanted to keep his enclosure and did not want to spend any more than needed. Maybe he will add the fan, but I agree, one is probably needed.
@@PatrickHoodDaniel I mean, used fans are free and new ones are $15

Doese the proma 150 works with the pokeys57cnc and ethernet connection ?
I haven't tried, but I don't see why not.

Nice job brother … do you add a Grounding pass-bar to Avoid emi ? And if so can you show us … Thank you very much brother.
I do add a ground bar at on some builds. I will show tis in a future build. Thanks.

I haven't had the opportunity to do one for a customer yet. I sell them, but the customers don't request the wiring or system built for them.
Love the content!
i used c11g board, nice job
