@@MellanClear Hahaha I didn't even know I was watching one of your videos. I think the answer to my question though has something to do with it having a diverse set of archetypes, clear ideals, consistency and been written carefully with every detail taken into account.

The answer is simple: effort. The creaters put powerful effort into every last part of it. They didn't know if they could pull it off, but they tried, every step of the way, and in the end, it shows.
This edit makes it feel as if I've never watched the series.

I wrote a comment a few months ago under your "Avatar Balance". There I wanted to describe my feelings.
I'm not common guy, I'm not in the most of people. I don't prefer a happy, just rhytmed songs. In my country - Poland, is a one guy who was a UA-camr. He is very intelligent, everybody can say this. He said once "With age and years I'am listening a music what is perhaps no technical brilliant, but is giving a emotions and awakes them."
Me, and all of people watching your videos are type of these people I think. We like simple, minimalist music, videos and any kind of art. And these things are perfect in fusion with this beautifull story of this world, land. I wrote that me, we aren't in most of people, but people - who can see these capabilities and materials for short movies, but giving so much - like this are even fewer of them.
Person who is one of this type people - You are. Thank you :)

I like your videos a lot and I am actually inspired to make a few myself. If you don't mind me asking, what software do you use? Vegas Pro is on sale for $25 dollars on Humble Bundle but I'm not sure if I should invest money into something that I might not be good at.
haha yeah I just got SVP15 from Humble Bundle as well ! be careful, if it crashes, there's some tutorials to prevent that. you should definitely try it ! NO ONE is good straight away at vidding, it takes practice to get better, (it took me two years to start making decent things, and I'm a slow learner) so yeah, the important thing is whether you really want to dedicate yourself to the thing or not ! if so, go for it, and good luck !

I git Svp13 about a year ago and I've only managed to make one good video on it, I have done other videos on it but they never worked out in the end. I've watched so many tutorials.
Any advice how I can get better?
I've done dozens of videos before making something I found decent. So it took me about two-three years. And I'm still learning, and feel frustrated with my work, feeling I can do better. Don't give up, and be kind to yourself. You're learning a whole new craft on your own, of course it's hard, be proud of what you've already accomplished.
My personal advice would be this : look closely at the vids you like, and try to identify what you like about them, what makes them tick. In addition, it is good to be attentive about editing in general: look at trailers, music videos, and advertisement... Look at the rhythm of the shots, the cuts, what type of shot follows another, how sound is used (sound effects and voice over, or nothing at all), text... Whenever you see a piece of editing, be attentive.
But in the end, the greatest teacher is practice. LOTS of it.
