The Actor's Charitable Theatre presents "We Built This City" from Rock of Ages

The Actor's Charitable Theatre presents "We Built This City/Too Much Time on My Hans" from its June 2016 production of Rock of Ages live at the Historic Bama Theatre in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Here the Emily Odom as Regina, Steven Mays as Hertz, Chance Anderson as Franz try to convince the Mayor Steven Yuang to sell (or not sell) the Sunset Strip while Joey Lay as Dennis, Warner House as Lonnie and Alex Freeman as Drew try to convince Josh Towe as Stacey Jaxx to come play a benefit show for the Bourbon Room. It is hard to see but we had a live camera feed from just off stage for the Bar/Stacee interaction that was projected upstage above the set. That was challenging.

I remember when this song was on "Don't Forget the Lyrics." The contestant was 23, had a cougar girlfriend, and NO CLUE what the words to this song was. He lost bad. Then the host asked us in the audience, how many knew this song. Half of us raised our hands.
