I like to reply to Jeholiah. Thanks for your query. Theophilus was not a lawyer. The reason why some scholars believe him to be a lawyer are as follows: 1. The gathering of information, eye witnesses' account and careful submission of the material unto him by Luke suggest it to be perhaps unto a lawyer. 2. Luke's second book, namely, the Book of Acts, segregates a large volume of material pertaining to Paul making some wonder if it were a document prepared for the lawyer of Paul who was to argue Paul's case in Rome. In Acts28, Paul is still imprisoned in Rome awaiting trial in Rome. Thus, it may appear as if this tome is addressed to Paul's lawyer, Theophilus. 3. Some argue that this Theophilus was actually involved in arguing the case of Jesus unto Pontius Pilate causing him to attempt to release Jesus.
Dear Jeholiah, I have done extensive analyses into discovering the person called Theophilus and I find no evidence to suggest he was a lawyer although some would stand firm on this argument. Some others believe this to be a fictitious character for Luke to address to a general audience with a nominal hypothesis.
I performed a lot of research into finding who Theophilus was and discovered through external evidences that he was a born Greek, later converted to Judaism in his hometown Alexandria in Egypt. Even our famous Jewish scholar Flavius Josephus does not talk about him so I have to delve into Egyptian documents. I found out that even Luke studied medicine in Alexandria together with Theophilus. Both these persons were physicians.
Finally, I am not adamant in any of my teachings. As per still, I have firm evidence gathered by personal research, I hold him to be a doctor of medicine and if sufficient evidence is laid before me I am willing to accept otherwise. Thank you very much.

Brother Uthayachandran is correct. I should be extra careful. John the Baptist said "Let me decrease and He (Jesus) increase. I am very careful about this and here are some reasons why I thought it was OK: 1. I was preaching in France where they are all my students. I am blunt with them. If you notice this video was on youtube unedited and I removed it and uploaded the edited version. 2. I am not known much in the Tamil arena. There are too many teachers who dare teach eschatology without formal research and I have to substantiate my teachings to vouch it biblically. But thank you brother for your observation and kindness to let me know. I will change. Thanks brother Arun for your defense. You must be aware that I am a guy who did not even do my Advanced Level in school. I was not at all educated, didn't know any language besides Tamil and God took me through a whirlwind and has made me what I've become. 1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 5:3 சமாதானமும் சவுக்கியமும் உண்டென்று அவர்கள் சொல்லும்போது, கர்ப்பவதியானவளுக்கு வேதனை வருகிறதுபோல, அழிவு சடிதியாய் அவர்கள்மேல் வரும்; அவர்கள் தப்பிப்போவதில்லை.
2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 1:6 உங்களை உபத்திரவப்படுத்துகிறவர்களுக்கு உபத்திரவத்தையும், உபத்திரவப்படுகிற உங்களுக்கு எங்களோடேகூட இளைப்பாறுதலையும் பிரதிபலனாகக்கொடுப்பது தேவனுக்கு நீதியாயிருக்கிறதே.
2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 1:7 தேவனை அறியாதவர்களுக்கும், நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் சுவிசேஷத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களுக்கும் நீதியுள்ள ஆக்கினையைச் செலுத்தும்படிக்கு,
2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 1:8 கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு தமது வல்லமையின் தூதரோடும், ஜூவாலித்து எரிகிற அக்கினியோடும், வானத்திலிருந்து வெளிப்படும்போது அப்படியாகும்.
2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 1:9 அந்நாளிலே தம்முடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களில் மகிமைப்படத்தக்கவராயும், நீங்கள் எங்களுடைய சாட்சியை விசுவாசித்தபடியினாலே உங்களிடத்திலும், விசுவாசிக்கிறவர்களெல்லாரிடத்திலும் ஆச்சரியப்படத்தக்கவராயும்,
2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 1:10 அவர் வரும்போது, அவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்திலிருந்தும், அவருடைய வல்லமைபொருந்திய மகிமையிலிருந்தும் நீங்கலாக்கி, நித்திய அழிவாகிய தண்டனையை அடைவார்கள்.

2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 2:3 எவ்விதத்தினாலும் ஒருவனும் உங்களை மோசம்போக்காதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; ஏனெனில் விசுவாச துரோகம் முந்தி நேரிட்டு, கேட்டின் மகனாகிய பாவமனுஷன் வெளிப்பட்டாலொழிய, அந்த நாள் வராது.
