As a 37 year old myself, I think part of Bryan's confidence is his age. I think he has reached the point where he knows what he wants and decides no more second guessing he's going to go after it. He knows a good thing when he sees it.

Astrid (her friend) told Rachel about Bryan prior to the filming. Astrid mentioned this on one of Reality Steve’s podcast that it would of been Bryan regardless. Astrid had an hour long ride with the driver that had dropped Bryan off at the interview site. Because of a friend’s connection with the producers he did not go through the full interview process. He came specifically for Rachel Lindsay on Season 13 -evidently he wasn’t interested in prior Seasons. Go look it up-it was a very informative/interesting interview. You see, when Peter dropped the unsuspecting bomb on Rachel that’s when the drama started. She thought it was going to be clear and easy to send Peter home. Well it wasn’t! Think, she would of said goodbye to Bryan during their last date when she told him - I’m at a crossroad as to which direction I should go. That date could have been the goodbye date!! So she had made up her mind prior to meeting with Peter. Also during their ring selection May 6 with Neil Lane Rachel said that this man came on her Season to meet me (literally)--he felt that she was perfect for him. A man knows what he wants when he sees it. Remember on the finale that Bryan said that Rachel had possessed all the qualities that he needed and wanted in a woman (wife)- that’s deep and rare. Men like Bryan and Peter have probably dated beautiful women-I’m sure they come easy for them. Most of the time that’s all these women have is looks and a few qualities, but why settle for less when you can have the best. Good looking men like Peter and Bryan can afford to wait-their world is an oyster when it comes to women. Oh, Bryan was probably not aware that Rachel knew about him prior to their meeting. Now that’s something isn’t it? The haters didn’t do their homework-too busy looking at Peter’s handsome face-that’s where they stopped!!! Typical!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I don't get all the Bryan hate. If he says "all the right things" that's actually a positive quality, as long has he's sincere. He did make one stupid comment during the Ellen date, that doesn't mean he's a horrible person. A lot of guys wait longer to get married now. J.P. on Ashley's season was really similar to that and Ashley questioned him too, but he ended up being a great guy. If you like Peter better, fine, but that doesn't mean you have to hate on Bryan. She's going to pick who she's going to pick.

Bryan was on the a reality TV show called "The Player" back in 2003. But everything Bryan is displaying is PLAYER behavior. You noticed they never talk about anything too deep (or at least that's what is shown on TV) and its mostly PHYSICAL. I hope he's genuine and his player days are over.

I think its perfectly fair to consider his past. Before I found out today he was on "The Player" show, I already thought he was a player on the Bachelorette! The way he speaks, how he gets immediately physical without establishing an emotional connection, these signs and behavior of what fu*kboys do. I hope at 37 he wants to settle down with an intellectual woman like Rachel. I want to like Bryan but many viewers, myself included, do not TRUST Bryan. I hope he can prove me wrong and hopefully, open up emotionally with Rachel later then maybe I'll root for him. I'm digging silly boy rapper Peter. He likes Rachel so much he made himself look like a fool on national TV trying to spit fire. But its okay... I still like Peter.

To Rachel n Bryan there is so much as a colored 69year old woman to say to the two of you; and there is so much that HONESTLY I was from season 1 of the Bachelorette and Bachelor #1 FAN and prior to the two of you ; my favorite was ALI as I was so happy when she took Roberto Martinez; and I continued; to be a Fan but after she split from him I rarely wanted to watch any more bc I thought it was a truly Love Story...
But it was when some friends called me to say your favorite show is on tonite and the Bachelorette was a colored woman this time and then they said "she has an open teeth like me and my sister" so they always called it the "GAP"....

Rachel don't be deceived! I'm so dissapointed with Rachael being so superficial not to see these men (Peter, Bryann and Dean) are putting up a facade that works for dumb women. She's making a big mistake ignoring the men (just a couple in the group) who are really there for her and not just to advertise themselves to the viewers. Her instincts are telling her the exact truth with Bryann yet she ignores it for the sake of the fairy tale.

Rachel already said it. No man is perfect. When a man shows no vulnerability and seem to good to be true, it means they are hiding. If they were as perfect as they seem to be they would be already married to a beautiful wife. Rachel seems to gravitate towards those who show a facade and seems to repel those who show vulnerability and show their imperfections.

Narcissist always think they are better than everyone else and have commitment issues. I believe if Rachel is blinded by his overwhelming charm her family will notice and point it out quickly because they have no emotional connection to him. She deserves much more than a man who is using her as an ego booster until the next woman comes along. She would be miserable and he will try to make her jealous.. when he said she is in trouble he was correct.
