As much as I love the Nu2 build, being able to cycle Benten and abuse Natasha feels so damn good. Definitely gonna give this build a spin. Only change I'd make is forego the Nu2 and DAD, since even though they're cool if SHTF, they are ultimately bricks that hurt our main gameplan
Absolutely stoked about Eva coming back! I also wanna try out the Ishizu shufflers since they can be pitched for either of the Heralds. Could layer the interruptions further even if they somehow deal with Herald!
thanks for the clear profile as always. Personally I will stick with the version that moreso summons the big boiz. I just enjoy it when the archetype feels fully authentic
I've been looking at Drytron after pulling Nu II and DA Draconis from some INFO packs and loving the card art, so this video coming after the banlist explaining why Eva is a good card came at the right time, thanks!
Im not gonna lie, i got really excited when i saw eva come off. But between some play testing and just honest thoughts, im sticking with nu2. I think both versions are great, but the mistake i see people trying to make is combining the builds...backup plans are great, except when they conflict directly with your main game plan, and id cut the nu2/dad completely if you insist on the fairies...i would really hate to have a hand full of rituals and fairies, and see only nu2 or something. I feel like my current end boards are honestly just as threatening as a loaded perfection. Pretty much always end on dad, magikey, mu beta, and then either ip or dragster, but with enough names can actually just end on all of it. Or vanitys, mu beta, magikey, and sometimes dad if im feeling greedy lol. Plus honestly, while it feels pretty good to open orange live and negate shifter...well if you don't, all the fairy stuff becomes totally useless under shifter anyway and youre just falling back on fucho with less chance of optimal follow up than a machine build...but as always, thanks for the content, and just keep doing what you do brotha
The NU2 build is just much more competetive, more consistent and better going second with more non engine slots. This fairy build is not it right now, without Beatrice and apollousia, it cant make a good endboard with just one name. I just brick too often with this fairy build. I even build my deck to 48 with 2x Jack-In-The Hand to have better ratios with fairys and drytrons, but you just lose automatically going second against meta. NU II Gang
@@d_tony i heavily agree, eva is cool but it requires too many bricks. might have been acceptable two years ago, isnt now. nu2 build with the secret village lock is also much cooler imo
@@eisregenhahait was acceptable 3 years ago because it was accessible through an extra deck monster, so you could search more extenders or even orange light with benten rather than eva, which allowed the deck to play through interruptions more effectively

yeah 18 names in 45 is only 67.5% chance to open 2+ names and 30.9% chance to open 3, and when Beatrice gone name + Benten doesn't get you combo anymore. Even if people weren't on hand traps this just seems FAR too inconsistent
Pré prep it's cool but so break everytime you have in your hand, you have also Herald perfection or dawn of the Herald ( maybe pré prep two or one in deck)
Your build is correct. The machine build, the trap is way better than people think it is but you have to play more of the gigantic machines. Multiple Dads or heavy machines is more summoning with less committing. I love having Eva and orange side by side again tho
Hey, thanks for your content. Im really new to this deck and i would be interested how the line up would be with Nu2 or the 5k boss Monster. Or how is the line up with Natasha? is the Instant Fusion Target Millenium Eye just to have material for fafnir?
Mmm...idk about the Herald ...though if i had to play him, i would make use of ritual summoning on the opponents turn to have both rituals ...with stars align across the milkyway or meteoroa ...its such a shame that it locks you to only machine rituals. would be so cool to have machine and dragon rituals since the drytrons are basically mecha dragons depicting the draco star constellation ...really would love an arceus addition to the deck
Dyna mondo into herald is much worse if you do the NU2 line, you can't summon the bentens so you are much more limited in your ability to search for fairies to fuel the perfection.
Don't you think that a Nib-proof route, with Magikey negate and Mu Beta Fafnir negate and Vanity's up, would be stronger in every situation other than the opponent having Droplet pitching a trap? Especially since you get there more consistently? The consistency that Nu2 gives is so good, and I feel like with the Eva build, you might be able to negate a SP Shifter / Droll sometimes, but how often can you actually play the game in comparison? Basically, what I am wondering is if you think a higher ceiling is better than consistency. Also I think a non Eva-build can play going second alot better.
@@MrSpako13 I actually disagree- I feel like fairy is also extremely consistent now , especially if we use preps. Personally I still prefer the Nu 2 DAD village natasha-less version for now, I'm really digging the consistency and resilience going first or second. However I still appreciate Eva coming back just for people to have even more options in terms of possible builds.
Hopefully we get more Machine Ritual monsters so Nu II's restriction becomes irrelevant and not so restrictive. Only other options is two Magikey Rituals: Level 4 Mingiun and level 8 Big Fking Cannon. Ill probably pass on this version of the deck because i just like new support that much+Magikey. We could add aphophys swap deity to negate DRNM sad he only activate on main phase, the optio of adding other bricks like quantum engine for 6 negate is possible too but we will cook as always nice vid !!

In the combo, it’s not actually nib safe since you summon back Ben before choju. That’s 5 summons (alpha, zeta, beta, ben, choju) therefor you can get nibbed before herald.
The gimmick with the Choju herald builds has never been to be nib free on 5 summons, just that if they have it you're already at a point where you can keep playing with little to no penalty
