I think they were pretty harsh on some of these, i have a few cards that id like to grade but have little edge nicks or slight creases on a corner, i think with some of your grades i can only assume they are a bit lower maybe due to the centering, i noticed a few were thinner on the edges top to bottom but im super jealous of all of these either way. I have some great cards in my collection but do not have any gold star cards 😢
Someday I’m going to make sure my kids have collections like this. My parents made me cut my cards in half and throw them away just because I brought them to school to play with them in 2nd grade. I wonder if you couldn’t get some of them regraded at a higher grading level, I’ve seen people pay more and then get a 10 from a 9 many times for example.
Hate to hear that! Funny thing, I got some cards stolen from grade school way back in the day and that was the spark that started my collection again. I wanted to get those cards back and go even further!
Nice collection but over all seems like they were close.i mean they judge back of cards just like they do the front.scratches in hollow I guess that’s why if you get a 10 u get so much money. Espeon and umbreon both pretty rough but nice cards I mean they are old lucky they are in that good of shape

You got hosed dude. Ill always grade with PSA, but with these older grails theyre super strict and keeping pops down.
Yeah since I last graded I feel like the edge wear for the backs were way more harsh :(

At this point PSA is just make sure people won't have prestine cards and make value/money out of it.
