I remember this story in the news. She was a doll!! I wish these moms would drop them off at a local hospital if they can’t handle a child. Sad. Breaks my heart. ❤️
It's crazy to me that with all of the places these women can drop kids off, no questions asked, some still see murder as a viable and sometimes only, option.

Have you ever heard about Alexandria "Ali" Lowitzer from Spring Texas She was a high school student, she got off the school bus near her house and was never seen again, it happened in 2010. There was talk about the Sheriff's son being involved, and security tapes had gone missing. Her mother is still searching and also helping find other missing children. It's very sad 😔
Two months missing? Really!! When I babysit for my 18 month old granddaughter she’s never out of my eyesight. TY - TCR for another phenomenal story. Cheers y’all.
Fact. When Evelyn's grandfather threatened to call the police, his ex, Evelyn's grandmother told him to mind his business. He mentioned this very early on.
The baby's father was trying to get in contact with his daughter too. Meagan was giving him the run around, saying the baby was with different family members every time he called. He was very active in Evelyn's life. He went into the military right before this all happened.
I love this channel ❣️ i look for new video's every time i log on. This is the only channel that doesn't waist time talking about bs & gets RIGHT TO THE POINT! KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK & KEEP THE VIDEOS COMING.
These heartless, senseless, brutal murders of children are the most heart-wrenching of all murder cases. Some people should not get to have kids. Pretty crazy they need a law that you have to report your kid missing within 72 hours. Most parents would be freaking out within 2 minutes of not seeing their kid. And not knowing where they are.❤️
I've lived in Bristol my entire life close to 40 years and I have never seen anything close to what happened when we all heard about Evelyn. We just don't do this kinda crap around here and that makes it even worse cause so many people would have just taken that little girl if Megan didnt want her. 😔
I made a UA-cam video about this on my channel too. I live 15 minutes from where she was found. It really shook our town and we were all in such disbelief. It’s so sad going to the cemetery and seeing her grave. It’s a heart and there’s little stuffed animals there and flowers. It was so hard seeing it. She didn’t deserve any of that!
I watched some of the interviews. Megan laughs quite a few times and only seems to cry when the interviewer asks her how she is doing, if she misses Evelyn, or about getting Evelyn back. She even jokes around a little. She seems to enjoy the interview and attention. Megan's story constantly changing tells you she had something to do with her daughter's death. Her laughing during the interviews reminds me of how Diane Downs laughed when she was reenacting how she said her kids were murdered. To me, if a parent can't take a missing child or the death of a child seriously they have to have something to do with the child's disappearance or death. When I heard Evelyn's legs were sticking out of the bag she was found in I knew without a doubt she was put in the bag alive. It tears my heart apart imagining that poor baby possibly kicking and fighting her mom as her mom stuffed her into the bag to die. She could have fought so much Megan couldn't get her whole body in the bag so Megan gave up fighting with her and tied the bag up with her leg sticking out. Just disgusting.
You know when I think I have heard enough of depraved humans, another case pops up and my heart breaks all over again. I am so sorry the baby experienced souch suffering in her life 😢😢

Meagan B reminds me of Diane Downs too. She clearly likes the attention and doesn't seem to be upset at all, laughing etc. She also reminds me of a younger version of Leticia Stauch. Something really weird about the rhythm of her speech. So rehearsed. No feeling.

Thanks for the recap. I grew up in Sullivan County, but I don't think I know anyone associated with the case. I've met some political candidates in the area, but I don't remember meeting that sheriff. The problem with setting a specific time period for reporting a child missing is that everyone seems to have a different definition of when someone is missing. That two cases involving young girls come from the same area is odd and frightening. While Summer Wells lived in Hawkins County, the cove where she went swimming that day was in Sullivan County, and I think all of the places where the family went shopping were in Sullivan County.
If there's a silver lining in the timeline of these cases, it's that Evelyn's body was found before the Summer Wells case happened. If the timing had been reversed, I have no doubt Evelyn's mother would have latched on to the "kidnapped by a local gang" theory that Summer's father put forth.
I remember when they put out the amber alert in NC for the car in this case. What is wrong with people? Isn’t 72 hours still a very long time to wait to report a kid missing? The mom and her boyfriend killed that baby and covered it up, horrible 😢

Oh these cases are so tragic and sad. Heartbreaking. Evelyn didn't deserve this. There are choices. Adoption. Drop off departments. I'll never understand how parents can harm their children. It's heartbreaking. There are so many children that deserve loving homes with loving parents. Such a sad case. Thank you Amy ❣️ Please give a hello to Chris 😊 Thank you for the recap.
I remember too, this tragic ending of beautiful Evelyn... You gave so much details, I've never heard. Thank you Amy & Chris, for all of your hard work, and time, Always 💌💛 Rest in peace, beautiful Evelyn 🙏🙏🙏
Another sweet innocent angel who was let down by every adult in her life who was suppose to protect her. Also...I can't believe that the judge ruled the photos of Evelyn inadmissible because they would be too traumatizing for a jury to see. The thing is, that's exactly why they should be allowed to see them. We don't want to think about how far someone will go to hurt a child, our minds don't want to imagine the worst. In this case, in order to secure a conviction, I think it's vital that the jury see exactly how someone treated that little girl, wrapping her up, putting her in a plastic bag, and throwing her away like garbage...all while she was still alive. If the Casey Anthony case taught us anything, it's that slam-dunk cases aren't always slam-dunks. Other people may eventually be charged in this case, which will lead to deals being made. There will be witnesses who will all try to remove themselves as far as they can from Evelyn's murder. With all that going on, the prosecution needs every single piece of evidence available to them to get a conviction. With conflicting stories from witnesses and the defendant, with a jury of human beings who won't want to believe that a mother could do this, or allow someone to do this, to her child, and with an important piece of evidence that they will never see, it's not impossible that they could have just enough doubt to acquit her. Those pictures should not have been excluded, and certainly not for the reason that the judge excluded them. I understand evidence being excluded because it could be prejudicial, it was illegally obtained, or another reason directly linked to the case, but not because it could offend a jury's delicate sensibilities.
😢 I cant imagine how much horror I would have if one of my babies had disappeared this lady sounds like truly a piece of work. Unlike her I would have been screaming from the roof top if my baby was missing.
Im always stunned by how dumb people can be. Megan Boswell, Casey Anthony, Lori Vallow etc. Their kids vanish suspiciously, they don't report it or even seem bothered and then think eventually the fuss will stop and life will continue. It blows my mind!! 😲😲😲
The Summer wells case is in this area. They are not even sure how she went missing the parents keep changing stories. Plus they have lost children in their past for abuse.Summer hasn't been found. Both cases are so sad.
As a mom of, soon to be 5 & just a simple human being, this case & the hundred others, 😡😡😡😡!!!! I just cannot understand how, why?!?! So SO many people would take that baby!! Including her dad. There is simply NO JUSTIFICATION OR REASONING for this!!!! !!!!
This happened around my area.. I remember her missing pictures and didn't believe Megan from day one, something just seemed off about her like she wasn't all there.
That poor child never stood a chance, being born into such a group of people. So sad. CPS needs more funding and structure so maybe some of these cases can be prevented.
As a resident of Tennessee I have to admit I'm embarrassed to hear that 😳 But not surprised. Our justice system needs an over haul for sure but thank goodness they finally got that right!! Thank you Amy🥰
This reminds me of another case either in the late 80s or early 90s. Story went wife found on floor sati g she was knocked unconscious and baby, maybe a yr old was missing... Baby found dead in woods after a couple months missing. Mother was found to have done it. Maybe you can find the case. I think they may have been an episode of Forensic Files too. Love your recaps. 😊
i followed this case from the day she was reported missing. And i spread her photo and prayed with the nation waiting to find her. And then i broke down and cried harder than i’ve cried in many many years when they finally did find her. And i knew from day one who was responsible. I am still so gutted over this 💔💔🥺
Not reporting your baby missing for two months!?!? I wish I could say that is worse than Casey Anthony but I don’t think anything can top what Casey Anthony did, and she’s getting TV time somehow and points fingers at others.
@Vern Sherris that’s a relief. And let’s hope we don’t see Megan walk free, because she didn’t report her daughter missing which shows her guilt. Hopefully we don’t get another Casey Anthony case outcome
@@nickienicole8705 oh yes I remember researching and watching videos about that. I can’t believe what she did to her own son for attention. Well now hopefully she doesn’t get to see the light of day ever again
Yea, Sullivan County Tennessee. Take a wild guess who else is from Sullivan County? Just take a guess. I'll help you out. Summer Wells. Can you update us on Summer Wells? Thank you
When a parent either constantly lies or refuses to cooperate with police, LOCK THEM UP. Why people can be allowed to carry on in this way is staggering. There have been quite a few children missing for long periods in the last year & when you have the right to say bugger all, thats OK. Meanwhile precious children are being killed by feckless parents on a daily basis, where is the end?
HI there,....Here is the link to the episode we did on her. ua-cam.com/video/V8-5szkDkdw/v-deo.html Since this aired, her father has been charged with 2nd degree murder for striking her in the head closed fisted.
Even 72hrs for young kids is too long IMO What credible reason would there be for a 2yr old to be missing? They haven't skipped town with friends to go partying This world is insane
The pics you’re showing for the grandfather is incorrect. Those are apices of the Sullivan County DA Barry Staubus. Great coverage on this terrible story.
Taking a lie detector test will not harm a baby inside of a mother! This is one of the dumbest excuses I have ever heard and I’m a retired nurse. She didn’t wanna take that load to take the test because she knew she would be busted
Hey I love all your content, great work! I was wondering if your daughter was single lol?? You guys look so alike, same eyes! Keep up the great work!!!
Please do a video about the Ricky Grey/Gray case 😇 nobody ever covers it well at all & its one of the wilder cases I've heard. Thanks for ur consistency guys 😊
what a family this is!!🤮 Grandfather appears to be the only one without rocks for brains! He seemed like the only one who cared and has a heart….what a horrible family of soul less monsters! Poor Evelyn did not ask to be born into that rats nest…. RIP SWEET INNOCENT LITTLE GIRL❤
Good afternoon from Melbourne, Australia. You mentioned Casey Anthony. I've heard the name but no nothing about her case except what you stated she was found not guilty over a missing child. A similar case happened here which is pretty famous. Greg Domaszewicz was babysitting 13 month old Jaidyn Leskie who went missing and was found deceased in a body of water. Everything was pointing to Greg as the killer. He was found not guilty by a jury and can't be tried again (double jeopardy) so technically the case is still open. Your video is very sad. If as the mother states that one rolls over in bed and smothers their child you don't throw them out in the garbage. You ring emergency 000 in Australia, 991 in the USA and Canada?
Hi fellow Melbournite. I am still haunted by the Jaidyn Leskie case as I am about Azaria Chamberlain. A dingo might have taken her but it didn’t fold her matinee jacket up neatly and buried it. Jaidyn’s case was a travesty of justice. Evelyn’s case is so traumatic. If you want to know more about Casey Anthony look up Bailey Sarian and Stephanie Harlow for a good review.
Correction: Only the child's face was prohibited from being seen in court: "Goodwin ultimately ruled that the close-up photograph of Evelyn’s face was so haunting that it might well prejudice jurors and cannot be used at trial. But Sullivan County District Attorney General Barry Staubus convinced Goodwin to allow jurors to see nearly a dozen other photographs taken after Evelyn’s body was discovered." -- The Tennessee Lookout.
It's sickening the number of mothers, fathers, & significant others that kill children these days. I have no doubt that Megan Boswell killed her daughter. I've been waiting for the trial since I live (born & raised) in East Tennessee.
One of the most disturbing things is that evidence is kept from a jury. I really see no valid reasoning. They probably have substitutes .. surely the only important thing should be the truth.
I believe her mom and the bf knew all along that the baby was dead. One important thing you forgot to mention. Before the gf call initially he was told by his ex that he would regret reporting Evelyn missing. There is a slim chance that's going to be the defense. That her mom and the boyfriend killed Evelyn and hid her on the grandfather's property to make it appear he had something to do with it. This entire family knew this baby was dead and left her to rot in a shed. All of them should be punished ALL OF THEM.
This is a new one for me. This makes no sense whatsoever. Not that any crime makes sense, but.... no motive is confusing. lts hard to grasp the death of a baby, just for the hell of it. Such a chunky cutie. 😭😭😭
It's so sad when children are in the most danger from the adults who are supposed to be their caregivers. Maddening.

You know why they don't? Because there's too much red tape, cameras, and they don't have any privacy for it. So this type of shit happens🤬💔😢
Some states allow an unwanted infant to be dropped off at a fire station.
The grandfather would probably have taken her.
Anything other than killing an innocent baby. Leave her at a Walmart?! Literally anything else.

*Edit on CA. SHE never reported it. Her mother did and she was forced. Nothing on her own volition.
But CA did call the cops when another girl threw water at her. She's the worst.
Who could harm that little sweet pea? :(
Hey Amy! ❤️
Hi There!
@Vern Sherris hi! We’re good, emi is slowly getting better. Glad to hear you’re good
@Vern Sherris thank you! ❤️
The little girl never stood a chance. Every single person in her life who was supposed to protect her absolutely failed her.
i followed this case from the day she was reported missing. And i spread her photo and prayed with the nation waiting to find her. And then i broke down and cried harder than i’ve cried in many many years when they finally did find her. And i knew from day one who was responsible. I am still so gutted over this 💔💔🥺
They put that precious little baby in the bag ALIVE. My god I feel sick. Absolute monsters.
I think Tenn. isnt going to let her get away with this like FL did. She murdered her baby.
Think the Grandfather knew more than he was letting on from the start! Dreadful, ghastly people all round.
Very interesting.
Hi Vern. True Crime on Saturday…….oh yeah!!😊
I’ve heard about the case before thanks to CNN, and I thank True Crime Recaps for bringing us an update to the case.
Is there an update on the story? Cuz it's like may now...
Lacey Spears is horrible too. She made her son suffer until he died just so she could get attention.
@@nickienicole8705 oh yes I remember researching and watching videos about that. I can’t believe what she did to her own son for attention. Well now hopefully she doesn’t get to see the light of day ever again
@Vern Sherris that I can agree with
Yea, Sullivan County Tennessee. Take a wild guess who else is from Sullivan County? Just take a guess. I'll help you out. Summer Wells. Can you update us on Summer Wells? Thank you
Not first, but I'm here. Can't miss my favorite True Crime channel.
My son hid from us when he was 4. In less than 10 minutes of searching, WE WERE CALLING THE POLICE . What is up with these loser parents?????
All people should be aware that they can give up their children for the child’s safety. Not a perfect solution but better than killing!
Yikes. What a world.
If y’all haven’t covered harmony Montgomery please look into her case
HI there,....Here is the link to the episode we did on her.
ua-cam.com/video/V8-5szkDkdw/v-deo.html
Since this aired, her father has been charged with 2nd degree murder for striking her in the head closed fisted.
@@TrueCrimeRecaps ohh wow, and here I was thinking I’d watched most of your videos 🤦🏻♀️
Thanks Amy. Stupid people having babies and they and up killing them. Disgusting.
OMG!!! This case is absolutely horrible! I have a 26 year old grown son and I would lay down my life for him to always be safe and alive
Even 72hrs for young kids is too long IMO
What credible reason would there be for a 2yr old to be missing? They haven't skipped town with friends to go partying
This world is insane
Thought the same, at this age, you have to know where they are at any given time, 5 minutes are to long without knowing
The pics you’re showing for the grandfather is incorrect. Those are apices of the Sullivan County DA Barry Staubus. Great coverage on this terrible story.
I remember this story. How sad :(
The mother wasn't looking for her because she knew she was dead.
Taking a lie detector test will not harm a baby inside of a mother! This is one of the dumbest excuses I have ever heard and I’m a retired nurse. She didn’t wanna take that load to take the test because she knew she would be busted
That poor baby girl. Some people should never have children! RIP Evelyn. ❣
Hey I love all your content, great work! I was wondering if your daughter was single lol?? You guys look so alike, same eyes! Keep up the great work!!!
GOD BLESS TOMMY
This trial has been postponed again until February 2025! Unbelievable!
I read that too! 2025? What on earth and why?!?
What happened to "a speedy trial"?
@@chartroy I know, right?
@@2degucitas good question!
Please do a video about the Ricky Grey/Gray case 😇 nobody ever covers it well at all & its one of the wilder cases I've heard. Thanks for ur consistency guys 😊
Hi there! We will take a look at this case. Thank you so much for suggesting it!
what a family this is!!🤮 Grandfather appears to be the only one without rocks for brains! He seemed like the only one who cared and has a heart….what a horrible family of soul less monsters! Poor Evelyn did not ask to be born into that rats nest…. RIP SWEET INNOCENT LITTLE GIRL❤
42 seconds in and I am Intrigued
There are some vile, vile people in this world that just do not deserve to be parents.
This family is so messed up on so many levels.
That poor sweet baby girl 😭
Wow!
So sad
IT'S SICKENING TO SEE THE RUBBISH WHO CALLED THEMSELVES MOTHER, ...GETTING AWAY WITH MURDER
Wow that is all I can say.
But February is almost over! 😭
So,🤔 is there any news on when in Feb 2023? After all, 😞it is February 25th!
Aghhh now baby shark is running through my head lol
😂😂
Sooo sad 😢 She was such a cute lil' girl.
