I've had my CT6 for a year now (I've got the Luxury trim with the 3.6 V6 and AWD) and I still get excited to drive it every time I get in. It's a fantastic car.
have got a 16 platinum 3.0TT and the more miles it gets the more i love it...great review everyone that has driven or ridden in says it reminds them of a S class, or rolls....
@Nick J The secret to maintaining your 3.6 is oil changes and keeping the oil level correct; many, many 3.6's have done stellar service with proper care.
Great review. You are the only one on UA-cam who show what this car can do in snow. This Caddy is so much better than an S Class, BMW 7 Series and Lexus LS to me. It's so much fun to drive too on the platinum
We have this car with the 3.0tt and AWD. We live in Canada, and winter drive it with studded snows. It is an absolute tank! Goes better than my 4x4 f150! I can’t say enough about this car!!! Hats off to Cadillac on this unit! I smile every time I get behind the wheel!!!
Greetings,- excellent review. In fact, I’m now the proud owner of same model in red. It’s extraordinary in every way. I love the night vision and the multi screen heads up display. I will say after test driving several different models, they each have an impressive variety of features and get up and go. There’s a 3 mode driving enhancement which includes standard touring, inclement weather, and sport mode. These features activate special features to enhance the experience at each mode. The cool part of the sport mode is it gives you a Corvette style flag display which is kinda cool. Now, varying on your needs / family, etc; I think there’s cause for celebration when purchasing any of the various models however, naturally as viewed the platinum is unbelievable, and varying on a couple things will cost between $85K and $95K. The least expensive at about $59K and up. Now- if the Platinum is you’re thing but say it’s also a touch too much coin. Or perhaps you don’t have kids you may want to consider the very next level below the platinum. It’s 3rd out of 4 main package options. Any of the package options can be upgraded to include bells and whistles included in higher models. Now, the ‘’premium luxury’ model has 90% + of what the platinum has, and with the appropriate upgrades can get you to essentially 95% of the platinum for about $15K less money, the premium luxury has everything including the 4 tail pipes, with about 50 less horsepower. It still rocks! Typically you’ll have a 10 speaker Bose sound system instead of the 34 version. However, for five grand you can upgrade, but frankly- 10 Bose speakers - during my test drive I was thoroughly impressed. You should take care to make sure you’re model includes both HUD, and night vision as those options are just too cool. I enjoyed my experience behind the wheel of every model. I was taken aback with both the premium luxury and Platinum models. Ps- I have owned / and or currently own several other luxury vehicles both cadillac and German competition. The CT6 is easily one of the top, very best vehicles I’ve ever owned. Highly recommended.
Michael Simms - I agree 100%. I have a 2018 3.0TT and think the 3.0L is a must. The naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 (335 hp/284 lb ft) is just “okay” when compared to the super fun 3.0 L (404 hp/400 lb ft). For those considering a used model I’d also say Super Cruise is a must (only in 2018-20 models).
unjaded2 I have it ! not platinum one but you get all the features you need for 65k (yeah u dont need massaging seats and 34 speakers) best car i ever owned - this is quiet and quick, really quick!
I have to say, I'm a huge Tesla fan and admire their techn and innovation, and have NEVER been a fan of American-made cars (in terms of reliability and quality compared to their Asian counterparts, especially on base models). THIS CADILLAC HAS CHANGED MY MIND! My biggest gripe with Tesla has always been the non-WOW factor. Yes, from the exterior they look sleek, but the inside of Teslas feel very... stock. If I'm shelling out +$100k for a car, I want there to be at least some pleasant things to look at - and the Cadillac CT6 has certainly nailed it. Honestly, I'd rather buy this CT6 over a Tesla, especially because I feel the quality and price is up to par with Tesla and its Asian counterparts. Of course, idk much of the recent American-made vehicles, but I feel that - FINALLY - they're starting to LOOK and PERFORM pretty darn good.. Woo hoo! Btw, good vids - keep at it!
Finally seen a CT6 in person, all black. I must say this car actually looks great. It way better in person. Nice aggressive front, nice husky Cadillac size. It's the Cadillac they should have been building years ago. Makes the DTS look like sh#t! I can't get over this Cadillac! Now if only they would fix the 8 speed transmission or better yet put the 10 speed transmission and put the 4.2 liter twin turbo V8 inside. Now that might have bring some credit to standard of The World claim! Hopefully the V8 makes like 550 to 600 HP please!
Antoine Taylor Caddy has such a long historic using v8s. I don’t understand why they don’t sell a rwd v8. Fwd cars will never end up on Barrett Jackson as a car worth anything to talk about. Even bmw is bringing back v8s in the m5.
The panaray Bose system is the best media system in any car to date.. match that with all the digital display Screens and massage chair features and whisper quiet interior fully connected with wifi ...and this car is a home away from home. Plus hands free super cruise.
What good is it? Good for hauling lumber? Hunting? Fishing? Towing? For what this cost you can have a really nice truck that can do so much more. It will be good for breaking down and going to the shop.
only thing I don't like about this CT6 as a Uber driver, the trunk isn't a passthrough design, the rear seats don't fold down. I need that to deal with the large families that bring above 4 pieces of luggage with them.
Anthony Smith I do uber and lyft Ford Taurus SHO and I have a ton of my own stuff in trunk yea mu seats fold and yes is awsome but I have never folded them for a uber customer does the ct6v qualify for uber black. Ford is rumored ending some models in sedan so I need to look around I want AWD Cadillac Audi etc. And double the price unless I give up some features. I will be watching Alfa Romeo Gulia looked good but believe reliability a factor the Cadalliac is sweet.
w41duvernay the ct6 has a trunk that is so large if a family’s luggage doesn’t fit and requires a pass through they don’t need a Uber they need a U-haul truck.
I’m a runner for large dealership and just 75 miles from one location to another. One big no deal for me is no 12 volt charge port for front occupants and voice commands for navigation was frustrating and useless.
I appreciate your assessment of this car. It came across as practical both in judging its capabilities in real world driving as well as acknowledging its hefty price tag. I regret too, that it is out of my league.
I own a 2017 cts and had a chance to drive the ct6 as a courtesy car for couple of occasions. It is not quieter than a cts and even though the cars had less than 5000 miles, there were rattles and creaks on the door panels, sunroof and dashboard. My caddy also had rattles but i fixed them using foam (back seat buckles rattle on rough roads from their attachment clips). It is sad that these cars are really not worth the money and they need serious quality control. On the outside they look really nice and luxurious. My advice is if you need one, get a slightly used 1 or 2 year old for a lot less money. These cars depreciate like no other. You will save yourself some money.
al I've been searching for a Cts 2014 or 15 for a while now. Test drove a couple of them but waiting to find the right one. White or black with the kona interior. They're hard to find!
Heres another candy coated reviews for a car that might not be all that the reviewer made it seem to be...😑 Im always suspicious of reviews that only sing praises with little or no criticism. dont get me wrong, I like the ct6 and plan on getting a used one. But its not as good a car as this guy wanTs you to believe...
Nice car. Tail lights are kinda funky, and my Subaru Legacy GT can do all that snow driving. 100k for a car with back massagers...nah thats ok. 8 yrs it will be 15k on offerup.
Beautiful but too big for a modern executive luxury car. I would compare this car to the old Cadillac 75. Anyone who drives this car is going to be mistaken for someone's chauffeur and often.
YAWN!! boring, ugly, and SMALL!!! while I did have plenty of leg room, I had to shrug my shoulder and lean my head over for the lack of room in this little car....the back seat was not even usable - WAAAAAY TOO LOW WITHOUT LEGROOM !!
I've had my CT6 for a year now (I've got the Luxury trim with the 3.6 V6 and AWD) and I still get excited to drive it every time I get in. It's a fantastic car.
I've also got a CT6 Luxury trim, a '19 with the new ten speed; doesn't have all the 'fancies' of the test vehicle but this is a driver car.
have got a 16 platinum 3.0TT and the more miles it gets the more i love it...great review everyone that has driven or ridden in says it reminds them of a S class, or rolls....

he don't have the choice , the spring never comes to the North of the Ontario
Femi Ogunsola 👍
I agree!
Uh, I have to agree on the 7 series, no experience with the LS but the S-class is a pretty special car.
Better than a Lexus LS?? Oh now you are just being silly. Drive both from 100k to 200 k miles and report back
I just bought a 2017 3.0TT Platinum. I'm loving it so far!
Sexiest looking Cadillac in years....
Would make an impressive modern interpretation of an Eldorado.....

i am considering to by one, either platinum fully loaded or the blacking version
If i wanted a big sedan this would be it.
I just bought a 2019 slightly preowned beautiful vehicle. I had the XTS and it’s a day and night what a car I truly Drive in class with this car.
Love this car, it has personality 🙌
i need that car !
unjaded2 me too
unjaded2 I have it ! not platinum one but you get all the features you need for 65k (yeah u dont need massaging seats and 34 speakers) best car i ever owned - this is quiet and quick, really quick!
unjaded2 of
The CT6 is a sharp and stylish sedan
Beautiful car!!
Greetings from EU, Croatia..🇪🇺🇭🇷
Thank you! 👍 Hello from Canada!
That car would be a perfect winter car here in Finland..Especially with good quality studded tyres..
Wait for new XJ AWD winter test drive! Thx for video!
Had to watch this twice smooth and organized i can tell you know what your talking about dope👌👏
So... Did they ever get around to making a dimming passenger side mirror???
Justin, A very informative review! You are a true professional. Thank you and keep up the great work!

mayank444 exactly. If I ever get a Tesla I’m going to tsportline to get a custom interior done
Is Cadillac CT6 AWD a Torque vectoring type system?
100 grand?

And cost 120k lol. People love v8 but cannot stand v8 prices.
Antoine Taylor Ur prayers have been answered. 2019 ct6 boast a v8 and there’s even a ct6 v-sport now! Cadillac is bad freaking ass!
Is it better than Genesis G80 sport ?
What winter tires are on the CT6? Thanks.
will there be a CTS V version
Just got the car Friday and it’s been snowing ever since here in Texas been putting it to use lol 😂
The panaray Bose system is the best media system in any car to date.. match that with all the digital display Screens and massage chair features and whisper quiet interior fully connected with wifi ...and this car is a home away from home. Plus hands free super cruise.
by the time i have that car in my life. there will be flying discs
domenec valera um no there won’t
America IS great again and Cadillac NAILED it with this car . ITS A BEAUTY .
hey man Amazing review, very good stuff, I really love this Car.
На летней резине!? Зимой!
I want one! Hopefully I win the Lottery tonight 😂💰💰💰💰💵💵💵so I can buy one!😂😂
What good is it? Good for hauling lumber? Hunting? Fishing? Towing? For what this cost you can have a really nice truck that can do so much more. It will be good for breaking down and going to the shop.
The new xts is sexy as well. Can't wait for that review
I don't know why they made it have less horsepower than the cts v sport.

Xts has all that love it
Add a naturally aspirated V-8, and then it's perfect.
Very good review on a great car.
Cool car. Not in my budget, yet lol... I'm happy with my 98 STS, it's awesome for the snow.
Big v8 over front wheels.
I’m a runner for large dealership and just 75 miles from one location to another. One big no deal for me is no 12 volt charge port for front occupants and voice commands for navigation was frustrating and useless.
for the love of God idk why they don't just shoe horn an LS3 in there and actually have over 400 hp
They are now lol
IT IS OVER 400 hp
Damn this was a good ass review enough said👍👍👌
Just saw this video .. getting one ..
Great video!!! Great car!!!
Quality review!
I appreciate your assessment of this car. It came across as practical both in judging its capabilities in real world driving as well as acknowledging its hefty price tag. I regret too, that it is out of my league.
классная тачка 😀👍 хочу такую

al Thank you for the insight, I absolutely hate rattles and squeaks. Interesting how Cadillac didn't eliminate these in such an expensive car

Too bad since the impala is on the same platform they couldn’t of put this drive train in it
... they couldn't have* (!) put this drivetrain* in it. "couldn't of" makes absolutely no sense and looks even more stupid when put in writing.
As an Uber driver, I wish they had kept the rear seat foldown function from the CTS on this car. That is the only fault I can find on this car.
I moved to North Carolina from New Hampshire so I'm only watching this to GLOAT.
Don't be too happy. You have got some major corruption down there, and a WHOLE bunch of rural idiots as well.
This is a throw-a=way car after the warranty. It will be a monster to repair!!!!!!
for 100,000 I'll wait til they work the bugs out
sound quality or lack there of is rather remarkable.
Reall deal city6
Canadians speak English funny. Out , about , most , without .
Good luck with repairs.
Cadillac outperform German cars.
Nice car. Tail lights are kinda funky, and my Subaru Legacy GT can do all that snow driving. 100k for a car with back massagers...nah thats ok. 8 yrs it will be 15k on offerup.
Just like a BMW AND MERCEDES
Beautiful but too big for a modern executive luxury car. I would compare this car to the old Cadillac 75. Anyone who drives this car is going to be mistaken for someone's chauffeur and often.
James Varela you must feel the same for the rest in the class, because they are all bigger.
Climate control will last all of 1.5yrs before it starts cracking, fairly nice car overall otherwise. typical GM...
Typical morons come to bash shit they know nothing about
YAWN!! boring, ugly, and SMALL!!! while I did have plenty of leg room, I had to shrug my shoulder and lean my head over for the lack of room in this little car....the back seat was not even usable - WAAAAAY TOO LOW WITHOUT LEGROOM !!
The stitching on the shifter was frayed and the rear blinds aren’t auto. TONS OF PLASTIC. This car is lacking...doesn’t compete IMO.
Bmw cadillac
