Not very often, and usually not for very long. I used to live in a place called Browns Valley for almost 10 years, which is a tiny town (not even that) in the foothills of California. About the only time I remember hearing crickets with rain was right at the beginning of autumn or during the extremely rare summer storms, and then only for the first couple of minutes of the rain falling before the crickets realized what was happening and went to hide from the water.
This reminds me of my camping trip two weeks ago , and it rained on the second night. This is EXACTLY how it sound to me sleeping in a tent on a rainy night. I'm ready to go camping again :)
I will try. I did one like that already. But it is not much like NY. This is Texas and they do not hook their horn like they do in NY. Maybe because it is mellower down here or maybe because so many people carry guns. I shot for 60mins downtown at rush hour and not one horn hook the whole time. Thanks for stopping by!
lmfao hahaah like a light thats hillarious mines starts snoring lmfao ahahaha 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😁😁😁😅😅😅ughh what a good laugh i love them doggies lol such cute little pumkins always put me at ease 😅🤣🤣😂😂🤗😊😋😋😋😀😀😀😁😁😆😆😆😍🐶🐶🐕🐾🐾🐾🍃🌹🌻🤗😁
Call me picky, but because the crickets are so close to the speaker, it makes it seem so unnatural. I guess I'm expecting crickets to be in the far background of a rainstorm.
they're not though! crickets are all over a rainstorm, I, sadly, am losing my hearing of crickets and I am only 42. I used to be able to hear them with my window open. So many recordings like this hep me, because after I listen to them I can hear crickets again for awhile, and my perpetual headache feels better. I wish I understood how that worked, but I do not. But I am very grateful to all the recordings that feature crickets even in unusual ways- they really help my hearing to restore even temporarily. Truth.
+Leanne Flynn yes its because you might have lost that high pitched frequencys from your hearing but dont worry about it everythings temporary, and there are many species of crickets who make sounds at different frequencys so you might hear them in the amazon jungle etc
Crickets have to be the most relaxing sound to me. It reminds me of summer and that’s good

This is very creative. Two of the most relaxing sounds for sleeping. In nature I don't think it happens together.
