I have personally been to the Museum of Shadows. It's 15.00 for a basic tour, 25.00 plus tax if you want to take the self guided "UV tour" (which is worth) 10.00 extra if you want to go through the haunted museum with an emf detector, and an additional 10.00 if you want to do a sit in with "Demus."
Ayda behind display is gorgeous in person, she even has her own emf detector, while I was present she spiked a few times for me.
I spent close to two hours alone looking and reading about the pasts of each artifact.
There are some celebrity haunted pieces in the Museum, and then there is "Demus."
I felt the most energy from Demus.
This haunted object demands your attention and stares almost into the heart of your soul. With it's penetrating gaze, and energy so intense, you're compelled to talk to Demus.
Be warned once you are done conversing with this doll, it is imperative to say "goodbye."
It is definitely worth the trip of going. Mature audiences only.
This place is one of the most haunted places I have ever been to. They have candle lit ghost tours, because aside from the objects being haunted within the building, is also haunted with it's own ghosts.
The buildings also has its own history!
If you should happen to journey best of luck! Enjoy!

Demus was also the doll I saw shaking while I was there. I knew nothing about any of the dolls history so I was surprised it was one of the most "active" of the dolls.

I just seen this doll last weekend. I did get to witness the doll continue to slump forward. Everytime you went back to it, she was slumped farther down. After they moved her tiara she seemed to perk up and she was sitting upright. Definitely something there. Great place to visit. I suggest the Sarah challenge. I made it through. One person seen a shadow outside the room before I went in and I won't ruin it but yes I experienced things that I cannot explain. Great people. Great place

That happened with a Ouija board once. The family kept trying to dispose of it, but it kept coming back. They even tried to burn it and they found it the next day, unharmed. Very strange occurrences. This world seems to be stranger than we'll ever know.

Just earlier today I stumbled upon videos about black (or dark -) mirrors. In addition to creeping out even skeptics of the supernatural/paranormal, they are also rumored to increase activity of haunted objects, esp dolls. This channel presents information so well, I'd love to see the "Paranormal Kativity" take! :)

I've been to visit Ayda many times. My 8 year old daughter is obsessed with her and has even gotten to meet her and spent over an hour asking her questions. Ayda answered them by beeping her ghost meter in different patterns for yes and no. They really seemed to have formed a friendship. That being said, it's funny you should mention the black mirror phenomenon. There actually is a dark mirror in the same room with Ayda on the wall behind her. It has it's own history and back story unrelated to her, but it wouldn't surprise me if it somehow enhanced the energy in there. It's hard to look at your reflection in it. I'm for sure going to be researching more about the mirrors now. Thanks!

Lol she thinks that family is a piece of shit hence she was sitting on top of the fertilizer. I have a lot of old dolls ,and i have a creepy jack in the box from the early 1920's that was my great aunt's it's very pretty ,and creepy at the same time lol the box is covered in the story of snow white, but the clown inside of it has no haunted energy but he is creepy I am not scared of dolls , but I don't want a hunted one either. =] I did have a haunted nail from an old farm house that my dad was working on when I was in high school. And I had this nail in a little box on my night side table next to my bed on the side where i sleep ,and i had fucked up nightmares about that house . i got the feeling that somebody was killed in that house . and i did throw the nail away , after having that nail for a week .And the nightmares just stopped after that .

When I was in highschool, in 1987, I found a book on my pillow called The Necromancer. I had never seen it before. It wasn't mine, but I couldn't resist checking it out. The first page was a warning not to read ANY of the spells within outloud. The spells were for summoning demonic entities and curses. It was the kind of thing that causes the hair on the back of your neck to stand straight up. I took the book to my mother who, because of her christian indoctrination, lost her shit. She was having a neurotic breakdown and decided to throw the book away. As long as it was out of her house, problem solved. The trash was collected on Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday morning I leave for school, Mom leaves for work and the trash collectors are making their rounds. That afternoon I return from school to find the book on my pillow. Creepy. I open the book for examination again. Who knows, maybe something has changed. I really looked at the spells and the necessary ingredients for each spell. I've collected graveyard dirt from a new grave at midnight for a spell before, but these required items were near impossible to collect as some no longer existed. Once again, I took the book to my mother, for a minute, entertaining the idea she was playing a joke on me. My mom's face told me she wasn't. This time, she tore the pages out and ruined the book before depositing it in the trash. Friday, after school, much to my surprise, the book returned to my pillow. Whole and unscathed. Now, even I, am beginning to question the whole demons argument! I do not open the book this time, I take it back to my mother. She, I think, was really terrified. Later, she told me she contacted two of her friends to discuss what might be done. She wanted to burn the book, but one of the ladies told her she couldn't. It would only return again. She told my mother it had to be returned to where it came from. Where had it come from? Turns out, the back of the book contained the answer. It was a school library book! Once the book was returned I never saw it again! Has anyone had anything like this happen?

Le Noobildonne Haha! It is a weird tale, to be sure! It was a book in the Flour Bluff High School library. I have since moved 12 hours away from the area! I wonder if it is still there? I wonder if I could find it on Amazon? My brother, years later, admitted he had gotten the book because he fell in with a crowd of friends who believed themselves to be satanists. He knew he'd get into trouble if he spoke up so he said nothing. When the book reappeared he was afraid to confess. When it appeared once more he was afraid to get in the way of demonic forces! Haha! I guess he thought they had chosen me as their Queen! LOL

Tawnya Luke omg!satanists?!does your brother even know what a satanist is?!that is terrible!!!!!!creepy, yes,,but i dont believe in that kind of stuff.you would have had to have done something terribly wrong for something like that to happen.like witchcraft.but i just saw something about her on google when i tried to do some research on why 3 am is considered to be the devil's hour.

    • @tawnya0627
      @tawnya0627 6 років тому +1

Ariel Nicholson Since I made this post I have researched and purchased a couple of books. 1) The Satanic Bible by Anton LeVey. 2) The Necronomicon. A book published by an unknown author. Apparently, the Necronomicon was a book of spells separated from a book of the same name by H.P. Lovecraft. I was hoping it was the same book as when I was in Highschool, since it was first published in 1976, but it doesn't have the same warnings as the previous book. Perhaps because it is a different edition. Witchcraft is not bad. It is a religion like any other. As a matter of fact the witch trials of antiquity targeted women, mostly, and usually community healers or midwives. All of it is man made. All of it coming from one original source in Mesopotamia. What it has become is so much worse than anything we can imagine. Most witches are earth witches. They worship the sacred mother, Earth, and, I can tell you, when the earth worshippers were targeted by modern churches, aka Christianity, the earth has been treated like a waste dump since. In the time since the Advent of Christianity humans have annihilated 83% of all species on the planet. I digress. Satanism, as was created in '67 by Anton LaVey had an underlying theme: do no harm and consent. Meaning you can do whatever makes you happy so long as you harm no one and you have consent from any person your actions impact. For instance, sex. There are 9 principles of Satanism and none of them allow for hurting another being. What Hollywood created to discredit Satanism is what wannabe rejects determine in their minds to be Satanism. However, Satanism is a religion in and of itself, and I was really disappointed to hear LaVey classify it as a religion because, come on, what the world needs less of is religion. Most of the text reads like a petulant child mad at religion aka god, but if you don't believe in God, as Satanists do not, it intones anger at the deeds carried out by those claiming to murder, hate and pillage in the name of an invisible being that should be a no brainier for anyone to figure out doesn't exist. I would advocate anyone who has a religious leaning to follow in my footsteps and research until you run out of material! Comparative religious studies are enlightening, to say the least, but be sure to compare ALL religions. To do any less is a disservice to oneself. I have not had a chance to thoroughly go through the necronomicon, but it is broken down into sections. It is not divided into white or black magic. It envelopes both as equal under the law of the universe and discards the whole "harm none" or "7 fold revenge" reaction. While I do not advocate for any organized religion, witchcraft seems to be the best option of them all. In most religions, there are a protagonist and an antagonist. In christianity, of course, the protagonist is god/Jesus and the antagonist is Satan or the devil. It is a balancer. 3 am is the antithesis of 3 pm, Believed to be the time of Christ's crucifiction. This is why it is considered to be the Devil's hour. This is a very long winded response, but it isn't meant to demean or incite, it is simply information anyone can research and surmise. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Tawnya Luke omg seriously?!reading that last part was infuriating!!!!!!!!!!what to you mean by basically saying that god cannot be proven?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!of course he can be proven!!!!!!!!!look around you!!!!!!look at the beauty of the earth!!!!!!!!!!!if you are an evolutionist, then you must be either hurt or afraid of something.if it were possible that evolution did occur, then there would had to have been transitional species, and the fossil records would support that, but do they?.......NO!they do not.if you dont believe me,check them!see for yourself!and darwinism and neo-darwinism are absolutely absurd!they both basically claim that the earth and all the living things that inhabit the earth came to be by a series of accidents.for example,neo-darwinists claim that a genetic disturbance had to occur in order for the organism to jump across the gap left by evolution.for example, fish+fish+genetic disturbance=frog.this theory has no scientific basis.you may choose not to believe it because you think it doesnt make sense.but ill tell you this.the deeper you get into it,the more sense it will make.i have been saved for almost two years, and i still dont know everything about religion.it is impossible to be that smart, since no one is perfect.many religions act like they have it all figured out.they are judgemental and cocky to say the least, but its not my place to judge.but not all religions are like that.even some, certainly not all!,Pentecostals are like that.but im not.im a person who just lets people speak freely.if it is a situation such as this, where two people are talking about religion, one saying how god doesnt exist, and the other one saying how he does exist,i listen as they speak their peace, and if they ask me a question,i calmly and respectfully answer it.simple.sometimes i do slip, yes, but as i said before, nobody's perfect. We all mess up.we live in a free country,i know,so you can believe what you wish, and i wont judge, but if you do decide to believe in christianity,it will make a lot more sense as you continue to explore it,and you will eventually get to the point where you will refuse to turn back because being a TRUE christian feels so wonderful to you and you will no longer have the desire to drink, smoke, cuss, and other ungodly things.i know that may make you a little angry, but hear me out.im not being judgemental or saying ive got it all figured out,and if it sounds like it,im sorry, but its certainly not intentional.im just trying to explain it to you.i know it may seem a little vague, and im sorry for that, but i just have a little difficulty finding the right words to say,but i know what im saying.im not lying to you about this.trust me.it will make a lot more sense as you explore it more.im not saying that it will be easy, but you wont go through it alone.you will have two people by your side, and hopefully your family too, god, who i know right now you think doesnt exist, but please dont get mad at me,but he will make more sense to you as you grow in the faith.if you do decide to take that first step toward Christianity, i will help you.do you have a facebook account?i know what that sounds like, but no,im no stalker or anything.i would just be interested in talking more with you.ill be there if you need help,i promise you,and if you message me and i dont respond right away, please dont get angry or anything.im probably just busy doing something.but i promise you that i will answer it as soon as i can.you can come to me with questions, concerns,or comments, and i will try my best to help you.i know this sounds wierd coming from a stranger, but im just concerned about you.my burden for you runs deep.i would be overjoyed if you were to tell me that you took that first step toward Christianity.ill be waiting to hear back from you.and remember, ill be right here if you need me.so just come to me with any questions, concerns, or comments you have.ill help you,and that is no lie.i truly care about you and once again,i know it sounds wierd coming from a stranger, but its true.i would love it if you became a christian, and,as i said before,i will help you if you need it.i know im repeating myself a lot,but sometimes i just find difficulty finding the right words to say.

Why do you guys treat something so serious as a joke? If that is real you shouldn't use it as a fare ground attraction. Its a serious thing and you are playing with fire. Why do think is a fun thing to do ? You are not going to a mall or movies or a comic con , you are going to be face to face with things you don't understand and which are not trivial. Are you going to take a coke and popcorn ? Like.....
