What I always wonder when it comes to ghosts is two things:
1) If we can move things and speak with our spirit alone, why do we need arms, vocal cords, etc? Why can't amputees who lose their arms just start moving things around with their souls?
2) Why do ghosts do this? What do they expect to accomplish by haunting? Are they trying to scare us away in hopes of a little privacy? That obviously backfires in many cases.

I think they are forced to live with living humans and their just doing their own stuff
well, you notice that things which ghosts are said to do dont seem to make much sense and are much more limited in scope than the things we do as living people. Also, it is said that it takes much more energy for a ghost to move something than it takes for a living person to move something. While I believe it's entirely possible for a spirit to interact with the physical, I think its very inefficient because it uses so much energy, and they may not be able to sense things the way we do, so they tend to do things more randomly. And I doubt in most cases that they are trying to scare us. Unless it is a demon in which case it may feed on the energy of our fear. Anyway I don't actually know anything about it, and I don't pretend to be an authority on what ghosts do or why they do it, or even if they do it, just total speculation here.

We need our body's in order to have specific experiences (for our spiritual growth)

Some spirits/energy's are not ready / twisted / confused etc and did not have a peacefull transfer to the another level of Being. That energy can stay here and be lost.

Clyde the Clown was a gift from 'friends'?! And it was known to have a haunted history? Man, what kind of so-called 'friends' does this guy have?!
FYI, the owner of the clown doll is a haunted item collector and he likes to collect them for some reason. His friend gave the doll to him because they want to get rid of it and since they know that he is a haunted item collector, they gave it to him so he can investigate it.
In fact, he don't mind having the haunted clown doll at all! In one of his videos, he said that he's excited about having such an item that has so many paranormal activities. He also had a haunted painting given by one of his clients.

I can assure dolls coming to life and moving is a real thing. At my old house, I had a doll ever since I was a kid but it was always kept in the store room we didn't use. This one day, my dad opened the cupboard where the doll was kept to look for some stuff. And he kept it back. But the next morning we saw it on the couch. We ignored that but a few hours later, it was in the kitchen. This happened quite a few times. We finally threw away the doll but we still experienced some paranormal activities since that one experience. Even as a kid, I remember seeing dolls move but since I was only 4 and had little idea of "paranormal activities", I was amused by it.
I caught my 2009 Woody alive again yesterday and I wasn’t even scared. I just stared at him thing “Woody? What are you doing?!”

That clown looks like Emmet Kelly who was a real life clown and actually one of my grandfather's friends in his younger days. My grandfather would be about 96 years old today if he was still alive but he passed away a few years ago. My grandfather collected Emmett Kelly dolls and artwork and now my mother has his collection. Some pieces he actually got signed by Emmett.

The clown doll is Emmett Kellys, Weary Willie character he was very famous, he died in1979. I remember seeing him perform when I was a kid in the late 60's early70's. Don't know where they got the name Clyde from.

I’m not scared of clowns, or dolls. I’m just a little scared of ghosts. If I was exploring for ghosts in an abandoned building, and I heard a noise I wouldn’t sprint out the front door. I would think for the positive like it’s an animal or something hard falling over. Some people I’ve seen on exploration videos, when they hear a noise the first thing they think is: ghost, run away. I would definitely bring at least a buddy with me to help the exploration because I’m kind of a p*ssy in haunted places. The measures I would take would be: if I hear a noise, don’t overthink it, if there’s a groan or scream, also don’t overthink it, and just move somewhere else. If there’s a ghost walking past or something touching my back, definitely stay there. If it’s attacking me, then leave. Probably come back later or something.
Not really a haunted doll story, but Ive never forgotten a story my friends cousin told me when i was like 9 years old. I dont know where she had heard the story, if it was someone she knew or if it was something she read or what. But I guess there was this chick who had been hired to babysit a couple of kids for like a day and a half. And the family had this creepy clown doll that really freaked her out. Said she felt like it was watching her. But because it was in this antique chair and looked like it belonged there, and she didnt know the family very well, she didnt move it. She put the kids in bed and went to sleep herself, and the next day it was just gone. Soassuming the kids had moved it she called up the parents to ask if it was okay for them to play with it and they were really confused and told her they didnt *have* a clown doll. They found out some long while longer that it had been an actual person. Some creepy dwarf dude had broken into the house and just sat there watching her and the kids all f**cking day long.
I never was sure if it was a true story or not, and looking back as an adult it doesnt seem likely, but as a kid, the idea terrified me. I refused to get any sort of doll that didnt fit in my hand.

The Japanese clip could be a doll similar to a "Patience" doll. We have Patience, whose eyes can move to look sideways, apart, or even cross-eyed. It is a feature designed to be random when they get moved or bumped.

i had a creepy clown doll, like, its face looked more like a clown prop for a horror movie than an actuall doll for children, but i liked it for its weirdness so much that i used to put it sit on the chair i had next to my bed. because of its position it allways seemed like it would stare at people coming from the door and follow them in the hallway and since my mom was so creeped out by it, she decided to throw it away without me knowing. I was sad for what she did but even know, whenever the doll is mentioned, she gets the chills
