I believe that Exxon is the lead oil company developing the offshore oilfield for Guyana.
Exxon is one of the largest oil companies in the world. It along withRoyal Dutch Shell Bp and 2 other major oil companies are listed as the largest oil company polluters in the world.
Of course they pale in significance to the chinese and Indians who each are opening 2 or more coal fired generation st a tions PER week.
The Russians are gold medalists when it comes to pollution. Both in their country and in Ukraine with their special military operation.
As far as the global south is concerned it is inevitable that they will develop energy resiurces for their advancement.
