- This time at the Quick Speed Shop I'm with my buddy Ted and we're rescuing the Jeep FC-150 I stashed in a cool old barn over a year ago. I am supposed to be doing a modern Jeep drivetrain swap into this FC with parts from a YJ Wrangler. In this video I drag it home and do a walk around of both the FC and YJ. Check it out!
Please like, share, and subscribe. I put out new videos every Wednesday and Saturday.

Absolutely beautiful! OIIIIIIIO
Hi Josh, I had this fc in Michigan.
Thank you for continuing to work on it. I am in Holland. Bought it from a guy in Flint who watched it for years at a nearby lot and finally bought it. He did some engine work on it and had the head machined somewhat.
I think the engine was in good shape.
I paid him to rebuild the transmission so that should be good.
I just didn't have the experience to finish it.
Did some research too.
It was from the Snowshoe Guest and Dude Ranch in Kremmings Colorado and spent a long time there. I guess that is still there now and is super fancy and has a different name. They said Zane Grey was a frequent visitor at the old Snowshoe Ranch. He was a famous writer of Western books.
It was bought by a dealer in Northern Illinois also. Somewhere up near Chicago from what I remember. I think the guy from Flint may have bought it from that dealer.
Keep it rolling brother
Wow, thanks for the info! I was able to find that Dude Ranch on CO and thought it was super cool that it was still open, but with a different name. My friend's son bought the FC from you and wanted me to body swap it onto a Wrangler frame. That didn't work out and the FC is now in Virginia with a guy that also has an FC-170.
Snub Nose JEEP is so cool. A fun project!! '57 was a GOOD year!!
That thing is cool, I can't wait to see the video's
freaking awesome FC, I just got mine on the road.
Nice! This one lives in VA now.
@@QuickSpeedShop if you like you can check out my UA-cam channel and check out my FC. Let me know what you think.
@@klugersgarage2802 I'll check it out!
Nice old Jeep. I had my 1969 CJ5 out for a ride this weekend. Still haven’t started working on my 1960 wagon.
hi there those are the ugliest thing i have ever seen . you have to be crazy to own one of those . OH ! thats rite now I'm down to 5 of them just sold my dually yesterday . ya i am crazy . video made me smile thanks john
I remember looking at those new on the lot. My idea back then was to put one of the slide in type truck canopies they use to made that had a dinette that made into a bed and an ICE BOX on one side and a sink on the other just inside the door.. i wanted to build what they call an ‘Overlander’ now days. But when the kids start coming you have to start counting seats. Those are pretty rare and I still think they’re Kool.
Cool, congratulations! Seeing that one sitting in the barn might just be enough to get me to resurrect the one I have in the weeds. 58 150 just like yours but green with a white top. They definitely get peoples attention. The gear whine usually gets their head turned your direction and then they see you. They're a hoot though. Mine has a Ford 260 and an overdrive but it's out of a wagon and you have to change it underneath. I don't know if they figured out the linkage for that in the fcs. They've got a stiff ass leaf pack. You have to have about half a bed full or something in mine til it rides ok. Good Luck with the project. I think I will get the truck and drag mine out in the field and get it started.. it couldn't be too bad.. It ran when parked lol.
Get that thing out of the weeds! Wtf dude!
Those are Kelly-Hayes 15x8 JEEP Renegade wheels. They have some value so don't junk them as aftermarket. :-)
Don't worry, nothing is going to be thrown away.
That jeep is rare or I don't get out much...never seen one before. Cool!
FC-150 is rare, only produced. '57-'60. FC-170 was available up to '64.
WOW! A ton of work. Is this going to be a straight through series? Your loyal viewers are waiting for the shop truck to be finished.
Shop truck is too busy getting driven right now. Will get back on that in the late fall.
Bazzinga, Great news
New subscriber, you really deserve a lot more subs than you have.

Hi Shelly
Noticed a 37 or 38 chevy in the background is it a coupe or a sedan and what are your plans for it? Thanks really enjoy your videos.
Thanks! It's a '38 Pontiac 4 door sedan with '38 Buick nose on it. Car is pretty rough. My buddy is buying it to build at some point.
Looks like uall Forgot the wood racks for it sitting by the wall ???
Those didn't go to the truck.
@@QuickSpeedShop im looking for a 150 if u every have one for sale. Im in Reno area. Thank u
Great to see & hear Ted..where’s his Ford?
In the shop getting a new clutch and some new gaskets.
I think in 1957 they had the narrow axles but I could be wrong. If it is a 57 maybe someone swapped out the axles?
Not sure. This has wide aftermarket wheels on it that widen out the stance. I have to check with the owner to see what year it is.
Hi Josh
Hi
how much you want for it?
Sold it.
