Heyo I went there this summer. Fun little tidbit - my mother in law grew up on the castle grounds, in one of the little overgrown houses In the northernmost corner of the castle grounds. Her mother ran the museum shop, and because of communism it was seen as a culturally "good thing" to have workers living in a castle. When I went in July it looked like the specific house she used to live in had been abandoned with the fall of communism, and now it was barely visible for plants and all boarded up. Anyhow, Malbork is. A 10/10 trip for any history nerd. I felt I could've spent a week there without getting bored.
When you are down on the continent, visit Tjeckoslavakia Prague is a great town. Not only to visit it has an interesting history too. And if you want great beer, Tjeckoslavakia has lot´s of great beer´s
1:45 That is what we call orienteringsløb. Orienteering in English, I believe. Very well known here. We have all done this in school, or at least my generation has. You consider this something that needs explaining. Such glimpses of cultural differences is one of the things that makes your channel so interesting.
You can get the polish pickled cucumbers in several polish/eastern european stores in Copenhagen. For example at Delikatesy Polskie at Åboulevard 32. Just make sure you get the ones without vinegar ☺️
You don't know how many places to visit in Poland. Gdańsk is the Tri-City. Old Gdańsk, over a thousand years old. Gdynia is a new port city built 100 years ago. Sopot is a typical seaside resort. The region itself is interesting. These are Kashubia. Kashubs are Western Slavs. They have their own language, alphabet, customs and cuisines. The most delicious European strawberry comes from this region. Former "President of Europe" Donald Tusk is Kashubian. :-))))There is the European Solidarity Center in Gdańsk. It's a museum of libertarian movements. "Solidarność" the first trade union independent of the communist government was established in the Lenin Shipyard in Gdańsk. It was the beginning of the fall of communism.
Bardzo dziękujemy że gościliście w Malborku i na Zulawskich Smakach
Impressive place. Cant wait for my trip to Polen/Kracow.
I love the funk music you have on this video :D keep up the good work. I have so far seen all your videos, and I enjoyed all of them.
Great tour

Do you guys have a favorite castle ruin :-). Mine is Hammershus
could you make a video of the rod in Dyrehaven and the Hubertus hunt ???? Big fan
Went there in 2019. Great place. Also went up the coast to Gdynia and Sopot. The last city are great. Gdynia are quite boring
Ha, how cute is 4 1/2 year old Maya at 11:09? 🤗

Great video, guys!! 👍
Fun to see where you choose to go, other than here in DK 😉
hello from Hundested 🌸🌱
Thanks! We still have a lot of DK to explore, but nice to see a new place that is close by :).
Great tour of the castle. There are a few Polish shops in CPH if you need to stock up on salt/vinegar cucumbers.
You think of cucumber in brine(Ogórki kiszone). It is a naturally fermented cucumber. :-))
Folks, it's the largest "brick" castle.....slight correction.
The largest castle in the world made of brick !!!

Would adding Grandmaster Flash have made them The Furious Five?
You know you've been studying Danish when you're pronouncing non-Danish things in Danish 🤣
It's so hard not to do that! :D - M
Love how narcissistic and self-centered we Danes are. As soon as the video isn't about Denmark, you guys barely get any views. Pretty telling
agree
