I totally understand what you mean about enjoying something because it helps you bond with the people in your life. I have a couple friends who are really into Fourth Wing so it was way more fun to read and chat all about theories and such with them. Sometimes books can just be fun! 💗💗💗

I totally get revisiting a book because you aren’t in the mindset for it right then. That was me and One Dark Window. It just wasn’t what I needed right then. I’ll go back one day. Two tries to get through Fourth Wing as well. I have read all 3 now and I think I like the political intrigue, who is a good guy and who isn’t, figuring out what history is missing and why, and, of course, the dragons.
