Logically the best choice is to complete the defense and draft a DE, but it’s time to make our offense as strong as possible to give Caleb the best possible chances to break our passing records because they are woefully bad right now, 🐻⬇️
There’s no way you pass up on 1 of the big 3… if none there, trade down and get another high pick this year… but having 3 receivers with Keenan Allen or a dj Moore kinda builds you take it… especially how often teams go 3+ wr sets, we’re good on ends, Braxton jones does scare me, and then Keenan Allen scares me too, injury wise
This is a shallow draft, but loads of WR. Would love to have another top WR that can grow with Caleb, but solidifying the D line early and taking a late round gem at WR (javon baker or Brendan Rice) might be killer
I’d take Turner, Verse, or Latu at 9 If any of those 3 Edges, 3 WRs, or Alt is there make the pick (priority WR, Edge, Alt) If not trade back no more than 3-5 picks back to get into round 2, take Leggette and Van Pran with 2 of your picks, fill other depth needs.
@@s6xafterse7en you will likely have to go back a few more to get a second this year, but one should still be there later teens, wr 4 and 5 are pretty good, and Fashanu is slipping and might be available too. Even a Robinson or Newton would work
The only PRESSING needs is QB, OC and Edge. I really want them to get CW and one of the top 3 WRs and an OC like Van Pran for depth… next year we can get the Edge and LT
The Vikings, Raiders and Broncos are very interested in JJ McCarthy and will probably try to move up to get ahead of one another to get him. Then the last two of those teams may be trying to move up to get Bo Nix. There's a chance that the top 3 WRs will be gone too. Which leaves Brian Thomas Jr. as the next WR. With the 9th pick Chicago could go with Brock Bowers too. Since Chicago's defense played so well last year and the offense didn't I feel strongly about them going offense with pick at 9. I really doubt MHJ, Nabers, Alt, Odunze and Bowers will be there and if any of them are Chicago should get one of them in that order. We can be sure that the Vikings, Broncos and Raiders will be playing leapfrog to get their man. I would not trade down past the Raiders. We do the swap and get their 2nd Rd pick at minimum. Then draft either WR "Brian Thomas Jr" or Tackle "Fuaga" or "Fautanu." Then get the pass rusher or more offense with that 2nd Rd pick!
Turner is overrated because of the weak edge class. He would be the fourth or fifth edge in a normal class. He has size issues which can be exploited by NFL tackles. I could be wrong but I see him as a guy you run at over and over again.
I don't care about individual stats. We need a complete team. Our offensive line is the weakest in the NFC North . Our offensive line is the worst part of our team
Can’t wait to hear Caleb Williams name called number 1 to my bears next thrusday🐻⬇️
I like J.J as well ijs
You mean Bo Nix
No Caleb Williams goofy go be a broncos fan if y’all want nix dude azz weak

Bro we are fine we can wait until 2025 that’s class is way better my dude we will be okay

Caleb & Rome

If Odunze, Alt or Latu are available at 9: take one of them, else trade down. But, come on, what’s the odds, that none of those are available????
Latu or Verse will be available later in the first round, trade down and get a second round pick to get a wr too
I’d take Turner, Verse, or Latu at 9

@@s6xafterse7en If he takes an edge over Alt Poles should be fired on the spot. All those edge's have major question marks, Alt does not.

We need another edge..Beardown!
If the bears offense can control the clock it would be equivalent to adding a defensive player
I’d love a trade down to mid teens, pick up a second rounder and take Brian Thomas jr and then take edge round 2

Odds are one of the big three WR's and Bowers will be there at nine.
@@scoreyj13 I agree. My statement is best and worst case scenarios.
Nobodys letting the bears get mhj. Cardinals taking him
Would y’all rather have Swift or David Montgomery for $8M/year ? Still love Monty but idk I’m genuinely asking
We still have a crap head coach
Turner at #9
