Its funny i just bought a mini van and i reallyl enjoyed your build out - i did a 7 day trip from Liberty,Sc to FT. Lauderdale to Lake Placid to Tavares,Fl to Salt Springs in Ocala to back home and slept in the van for 4/7 days and really enjoyed it - no knocks either - then i saw your motorcycle Yamaha vstar 1300 and i have the similar 950 tour bought used . I lived in central Florida for 8 years and enjoyed all the springs around there. Maybe next year i hope to winter in Tavares,Fl to visit with classmates and stay a bit warmer than South Carolina. I enjoyed your van fixup it really came out super clean - Safe travels Rob !
The clear water is the only reason I would ever go to Florida, that I can think of. The southeastern states are just too buggy, snakes and gators! Lol! Gorgeous footage! Oh! And peoplely! 😅 And now I have added snapping turtles! 😮😂
Hi Rob! This is such an elegant build! I have the same Honda Oddessey that I am trying to build very similarly. Do you happen to have any blueprints for how you did this? I am curious how you fastened the floor down and how you fastened the cabinets and counter to the wall. I have seen your other video on the build already. If you have any more information you could share or send to me, it would be hugely appreciated. Thank you for the informative content!
I don't have measured plans because each of the pieces was a custom fit against van surfaces that are not straight or level, with lots of: 1: trial fitting of piece, 2: modify size or shape, 3: repeat until the piece fits. Also, the wood floor is not fastened directly to the van floor; rather, the wood floor is attached to the bed frame, which is attached to the van floor via the rear seat anchors. Nothing is bolted or screwed directly into the van wall or floor; instead, all of the pieces are bolted to each other and to the wood floor, resulting in a completely solid assembly. There has been no movement or wiggling over 35,000 miles. I have a third update video on this build coming out later this month; good luck with your project!
I’ve only used the Intex Excursion Pro single seat kayak. In general I like it because it wasn’t too expensive, is fairly easy to set up, is sturdy, and has a built-in camera/phone mount. But like anything else, there are many factors which will determine what is best for each person, like cost, weight, speed, stability, ease of setup, etc. This is a fairly low-tech kayak; more money will buy a much faster boat.
Do you recommend camping at kings landing or kelly ? I heard many launch kayak from kellys launch becuase is cheaper than laughing from kings Island... As far as camping tho which do u recommend?
I haven’t seen the campground at Kings Landing, and they also charge a fee to launch, even if you bring your own boat. Kelly Park is a great campground, walkable to the head spring and tube run, and has free boat launch from adjacent Camp Joy. I would camp at Kelly Park again
There are signs in the park warning visitors about wildlife, including snakes and alligators. However, those creatures prefer quiet murky water such as ponds and swampy areas, and there are very few issues for visitors. The clear waters of the flowing creek are generally safe, but I always keep a good lookout!
Thx for sharing, what a wonderful place to be outdoors.

Got a reason to travel Florida!^^

I'm going to Florida this summer. What inflatable kayak would you suggest? Thanks for the videos.

Wow, just beautiful filming.I am from San Diego, what about snakes and crocks there?

hi Rob , where is that location ? nice creek
Hello from Russia UA3QSG op Stanislav. Goodvibes. 73
Next time youre in Florida try rainbow river and itchnatakee springs.
Aren't there any gators in that water ....?
According to park staff, gators are very rare in the clear sandy parts of the springs and creeks. I stay out of the swampy areas, and have no worries
that was great vibe and sences , but tge turtle wants to finger you bro take care🫠😄
