Why get rid of the seats to then make a seat, the foam would wear unevenly. Better off keeping the original seats and putting them away when you don't want to use them.

Why is it that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT can CAPITALIZE on land capture and then claim nobody else to enjoy or profit from it? Filming (by ANY electronic measures including drones) should not be at the WHIM of the parks but the FAA. Sure, persons who are going to film commercially should file a letter of intent / project plan but beyond that why should citizens be kept outside the major media and government lines that have been drawn in the sand? There also appears to be a commingling of terms under commercial filming (aka motion picture v. commercial videographer or drone pilot). Their rules make it so that only MAJOR companies (like Disney) are permitted to film inside state or national parks. 1. If the uncrewed aircraft pursuits or harasses wildlife or creates an intentional disturbance of wildlife nesting, breeding, or other activities, the user could be cited for a violation of 36 C.F.R. § 2.2. 2. If the user of the uncrewed aircraft knowingly or recklessly creates a risk of public alarm or nuisance by causing noise that was unreasonable under the circumstances or by creating a hazardous or physically offensive condition, the user could be cited for disorderly conduct under 36 C.F.R. § 2.34. 3. 36 C.F.R. § 2.12(a)(3) prohibits, in non-developed areas, operating a device powered by a portable motor or engine, except pursuant to the terms and conditions of a permit. Take into consideration #3 permits parts to move boundaries to keep people out. They park service approaches these application as a CIRCULAR FILE ONLY option only (just as the FAA did with applications for night time filming for so long). Permitting that the company has adequate licensing, training, insurance, etc. then how could these people do more damage that the people who JUMP the fences, knock down iconic rock formations, or knowingly cause damage and destruction when most of us are trying to document or even assist in saving our parks. Who knows we might film something that helps bring someone to justice that was there harming the parks. This is like the media total telling people to SHOOT DOWN drones. This is a federal crime and the media is causing the public to act against aircraft. Parks have taken the ABOVE THE LAW approach for far too long and need to be put back into their place.If there is a national secret inside any of these locations they can merely file for an FAA restricted airspace to prevent us from filming it.

When I saw those high waters and New Balances, I knew you meant business.

Its a good looking inexpensive conversion. Looks like it woukd be fun to build. I would have a deep sink with a bowl cover so it would also serve as counter space. The removable table that doubles as a desk is a nice convience tool.

Does the floor attach via existing mounting hardware, or did you just screw it directly down to the van floor?

That’s a BS response regarding footage of other visitors being prohibited. There is no expectation of privacy on public land. 1st amendment auditors are able to upload footage of their audits even on postal service and other government grounds. And yes, they’re monetized.

Wow, I know this was years ago but you are truly amazing and was just want a van owners needed. Reality is not everyone can buy a 50,000 van and then put another 10 to 20,000 for a build. I love what they do and bless those that can afford to so. Having a mini van your build gives a great foundation physically and mentally to the full usage of the mini van. As you said it could be just for short trips and back. Not concerned about being stealth or being some where and not wanted! But it is also very functional to support one person in need. Great job. Hope all is well!
