I hope that I did this book justice, & that i was respectful of all the harsh topics that are mentioned. If there’s something that i was unknowingly insensitive to, please please let me know how i can do better. ❤️

Please disregard the fact that I was pronouncing "Hanya" as "Hannah". 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm so stupid, I really thought the cover said Hannah the whole time until I started writing out her name myself while making the video. I'm so so sorry. d

I hate this book and author with a intense passion, I can't lie. Because she had basically admitted that she just wanted to make it as bad as possible, or purpose, just because. Like how sick do you have to be? You can write ANYTHING in the world.... THIS is what she chose. I have a level of respect for the work itself bc it's art and I can't really judge, but the authors intent throws me off entirely.

You’re totally valid for feeling that way. I feel like this book is an enigma. Bc the author had obvious things she wants to say about struggles and life and humanity, but what’s the point of the message if not many people ca bear to read it?? And also what’s the point in having it end the way it did?

@@DiemmiLe right! I watched some interviews with her and she said she wanted to depict that life does not get better for everybody and some people never get better no matter how hard they try. And like..... Yeah that's factual, but what is the value in that kind of message when it's something that's more worth fighting against than succumbing to? Is the message to not hold on to hope? It's sick no matter how you spin it.

@@kimaya4503it’s an exaggeration /allegoric of a multitude of traumas …hanya mentioned it in an interview but while reading it I always believed that it was a bit symbolic and satirical even in a way
