Been following Eric's story for years and wish him well. But, with all due respect, how is he really "doing" anything here? While he can certainly contribute his intellect and creativity and energy to a project like this, the only way this actually happens is with tremendous support from others that most people with this level of injury do not have. His mother is basically his full time care giver which of course cannot last forever. In reality he is only really lending his image and story to this endeavor which makes it rather disingenuous. Once again only because of the absurd celebrity of college football does he have this stream of income. It's very similar to the BU hockey player Travis Roy. How many stories of quadriplegics doing well do you see that don't have this artificial advantage?
