    Amazing story Adam! So very happy with your outcome! My cousin just had a spinal cord injury and they are saying he won't walk. I look at you and see your story and it gives me hope. Thank you and God bless!

    I went to Lambuth University and in 2009, we had a player named Fletcher Cleaves that was in a car-accident that paralyzed him from the waste down. I hate that things like this could happen to such great people.

    It's still a HUGE VICTORY FOR ADAM. It's pretty damn selfish of anybody to take away from that don't you think? Please stop acting like 4th grade punks.

    Im sure he and his family believe that god gave him the strength,, but you create your own willpower with everything you go through... and you, and only you can pull yourself through those moments, not god...
    but like u said,, we disagree on this,, so lets leave it on that

    yEP YOU'RE RIGHT, gOD DID BREAK HIS NECK ONLY TO MAGICALLY HEAL IT SUDDENLY OUT OF THE BLUE. Do you seriously think of these things and just write, type or say them aloud. Have a blessed day sir. I'll remember to say a prayer for you this Sunday

    Yet people like Curtis Martin and Adam Taliaferro have experienced miracles upon miracles. Curtis Martin who can't explain why a gun was pulled on him and the trigger was pulled 7 times and no shot rang out. A loaded gun and then the gun was turned onto his friend and the trigger was pulled once and the bullet came out. Adam Taliaferro was paralyzed from, walked again. Eric Legrand who couldn't not one body part, is now walking, granted with some help but he is walking. My point is, they believe

    However, we obviously have two diferent opinions which means we won't have an agreement, but tell me, if you had a tragic injury as adam did, who is it that you're going to have faith in!? Further more, if it is adam's own willpower that pulled him through, it doesn't change how he and his family believe that God gave him the strength, and that they believe that it was God who gave Adam the willpower to believe he was going to walk again!

  • @CC25Y
    @CC25Y 12 років тому

    yeah you're right we don't agree, but I do respect your opinion but I respectfully disagree, while yes it is you who pulls thyself out of tragic moments, I believe it is God who gives us the strength and confidence you get through almost anything. Weak minded people sometimes tend to go with the flow instead of the grain! They sometimes don't have the confidence and strength to do certain things! In my opinion that does not show the content of character or will power in a person...

    lol sir, do you even know where willpower comes from!? Who is it that created us to have willpower and a voice and enough confidence to believe that you will pull through anything tragic!? lol Now what does that have to do with tim tebow? while I disagree with him and believe that the broncos did not win because of god, that is what he believes, which means it's okay, that's his right! we all have our opinions!

  • @gdawgs0001vids

    Why all the personal shots?, I differ in opinion form you. But why do you care so much what I believe I know why I care what you believe, the meaning of life to me is bringing glory to God and one way of doing that is expanding his kingdom, but why do you care what I believe? p.s. I was saying the creation of the tectonic plates all boils down to the big bang which im not saying didnt happen, im just saying what started that? GIve me wisdom because I dont understand, Im a peanut :)

  • @ihavechosen
    @ihavechosen 12 років тому

    And you're not a peanut, but you seem to have the same foundation of scientific knowledge as a peanut. The formation of the tectonic plates isn't really related to the big bang. The formation of the tectonic plates occurs during the process of planet formation, which takes millions of years, and occurred long, long after the big bang. Also, if the big bang occurred, it is believed that it was caused by the collision of rapid subatomic particles (google Large Haldron Collider)..

  • @ihavechosen
    @ihavechosen 12 років тому

    Okay I'm not trying to attack your beliefs, you have the right to believe whatever you want, you really do. But if somebody genuinely believed that Harry Potter was a real person, wouldn't you kind of have a problem with that? Why is it an attack on their belief to point out the fallacies in their opinion? I'm not trying to attack you and put you down, I'm only trying to get you to understand why I find it so farfetched to believe the atrocities and the exaggerations of any religious text.

  • @CC25Y
    @CC25Y 12 років тому

    he could have been permanently paralyzed! He isn't and that is why God is good, but this happened because technically he ducked his head so it was his mistake, messed to say it like that but there's no other way to say it. Mostly though this was just one of those horrible, rare but flakey accidents! However, this could've been alot worse than it was, instead it wasn't!

  • @ihavechosen
    @ihavechosen 12 років тому

    What's wrong CJ, afraid to face the truth? Why don't you respond with a little insight instead of just telling someone who makes a completely valid point to shut up?
    The evidence of life suggests that "God" is not good. So for someone to say that "God" is good, because a single kid makes a remarkable physical recovery is just plain stupid. Adam Taliaferro didn't recover because God is good. Adam recovered because he had excellent medical treatment and had a physically successful rehab.

  • @ihavechosen
    @ihavechosen 12 років тому

    The grace of god had nothing to do with it, just like the grace of god has nothing to do with anything. You putting your statement in caps doesn't do anything to change that fact. "God" is nothing more than the physical constraints of the universe (chemistry, physics, quantum mechanics, etc.). Sorry to burst your brainwashed bubble.

  • @ihavechosen
    @ihavechosen 12 років тому

    I'm not disproving anything, evidence is needed to reach such a conclusion. Unfortunately there is no evidence to support or reject your theory of God, since it is a character from a hallucinogenic fictional novel. This video exemlpifies nothing other than a remarkable physical recovery of a young man who sustained a major injury. The recovery was nothing more than a physical occurance, giving "God" credit is unfair to him. Can you prove the Boogieman isn't real? NO, YOU CAN'T.

  • @CC25Y
    @CC25Y 12 років тому

    Serously this is stupid, why argue about science and believing in God? This is a video about a young football player having a horrific injury which ended his career and caused temporary Paralysis. Adam was paralyzed and didn't know he would walk. Until one day after him and his family's prayers were answered Adam walked again. If any chooses to believe that it was science and his own will that caused it, then that's your choice. I choose it was God, but that's my choice as well. Why argue?

  • @ihavechosen
    @ihavechosen 12 років тому

    There is a deep and embarassing problem with this logic that I hope you don't overlook. It's the same sort of logic used to make the argument, "You can't prove god doesn't exist." It is inarguable. It's the kind of logic that would be compltely dismissed by a court of law because of the obtrusive idiocracy. If you think everytme something good happens, God gets credit, and everytime something bad happens, Satan gets blamed, you are a damn fool. I hope you don't really believe that nonsense.

  • @CC25Y
    @CC25Y 12 років тому

    It shows how much of a character and how weak that person is! That's just my opinion, you're welcome to disagree.

  • @gdawgs0001vids
    @gdawgs0001vids 12 років тому

    Im not trying to be rude im just giving a different opinion, also your attitude wouldnt hold up in the court of law haha :) anyways, isnt it possible God actually exists and its all true? Who created the tectonic plates?, all from the big bang ok, what started that, it just happened how come everywhere else in science things cant just happen, but in that case it does, again im not trying to argue but why are you so against christianity, it as sound of a theory as anything else out there :)

  • @ihavechosen
    @ihavechosen 12 років тому

    No, I'm not saying that "God" is the particles, I'm saying that "God" is the force of interraction between matter.
    Who created the Sun, Moon, and Stars?
    That would be physics and chemistry, acting out on the matter in existence.
    Who created the atmosphere?
    Again, physics and chemistry.
    Who created the first human being on earth/
    What is physics and chemistry, Alex.
    You can't prove that there is no Boogieman, you claim there isn't but you can't prove it. See the problem with that?

    same with guys like Tebow... "We won becuz of god" etc etc... u didnt win becuz of god,,, u won becuz of your team !!! go "praise" youre friggin team,, not god

  • @ihavechosen
    @ihavechosen 12 років тому

    It's impossible to prove a negative assertion you ignoramus, this is why such arguments are banned from a court of law, and why arguing with religous people is like trying to talk to a brick wall, only the brick wall would have more intellegent things to say because at least it would reflect what I'm saying.
