OK that makes perfect sense, tysm! I flailed hard the first few matches against spammy Orgnum users but now I feel much better equipt to destroy them! ❤
@@OldSaltySean1 I hope to play against you both in the future. I am not getting much practice in at the moment though with the event on. I like the apologetic intro even though it doesn't affect me. My brother was color blind, red and green deficient, so I kind of understand. Red Eagle is a black deck, but he wouldn't have been able to see these others well. Hlallu and Psijic would be kinda ok; Saint, Rahjin, Crow, Orc and Ansei would all look the same or blurred. Even I have to look at Saint and Rahjin pictures just to make sure. They could have done a better job with the color scheme. Sorry for the rant, but good on ya for pointing that out. Great video. 👍
@@OldSaltySean1 I'm on PlayStation ESO, 3 solid guilds, lots of epic loot, we love to share...and no one wants to play me in Tribute 😁 If you're on PS, let me know, we clear high content. (except VCR+3, haven't cracked that yet cuz wtf it sucks and everyone has to be at the top of their game, CP be damned).
This will come in handy for sure I have been getting wrecked of late due to lack of knowledge on how the other decks work. That and for some reason I focus on gold to hard my first 5 turns 😅 Thank You for this great video! 😁
@@OldSaltySean1 I also have the terrible luck of great cards like armory hitting the field after I make a buy In The early game. When that happens all I see is the from my opponent 🙃
Nice! I'm still beginning and only at level 2, but I see you and other YTers talking about curses and I'm lost with that. Are there any of your vids that talking from moving from the lower ranks and then moving up and the new tactics you might see once you get there besides the decks?
Curses are just the patron ability of Rajhin the Khajiit deck, basically for 3 gold he puts a useless card into your opponent's deck called "bewilderment" to pollute their deck. I've got a couple videos covering the very basics of Tribute and then moving up to more advanced tactics if you haven't seen them yet =)
I'm not even color blind and I still have trouble distinguishing some decks with a glance while playing, like Raajhin & St. Pel. Also some patron coins on the right are way too close in color, imo. Seriously, they couldn't distinguish them better? Lol smh
Orgnum is a pain and hes very amazing at beating players who have never seen him so dont feel bad. I still really struggle against him sometimes, hes a weird one. It's just crucial to pay attention to how much power hes generating based on deck size. Dont have to count cards, just take note in the power gain whenever you see your opponent use him. Hope that helps a bit too and good luck in your games!
Thanks, I was able to win tonight using that deck that another player had. I think I was Iucky as I went 1st and was able to pick 2 blue cards from the Tavern and then gain his favor as well.
The trick to orgnum is to build up economy the first few rounds while sniping more cards. You don't treat orgnum as a patron spam. You use it once you've built a deck and at that point, you rush.
I didn't realize the one game I lost against this that the patron power was different whether you were favored or not. I think more of the patrons should work that way, but I couldn't understand why my opponent was snowballing so hard and when I clicked it it didn't do anything for me LOL I have to say I really like that this exists, but they need to add more of this aspect to more of the patrons. There needs to be a palpable benefit to increasing your deck because everyone is basically getting high power cards and shredding their deck to nothing which is kind of boring and predictable. Imagine if one of the patrons had a favored ability that says if you own 20 or more cards in your deck every treasury card gives you one additional coin. The thing is there's plenty of deck sorting and scrying available with the patron decks so it really doesn't have to be a battle of tiny decks all the time
That's part of why I made this video was to raise awareness of Orgnum, he really excels against people who dont know what he does. And I agree, hoping for some new life being breathed into the game with the new patch notes and crossing my finger for a new deck or two with the Q4 dlc.
i personally like using Red Eagle and Hluula together so no matter what i pick i can drop cards and if i do pick a color not consisiting with my deck so my opponent doesn't utilize it, i can use it once then drop it for prestige from Hluula
the curse cards increase the size of the deck , so i wasn't sure if thats a good plan or not ...probably better off doing the tug of war since they now make the unfavored 2 gold
too bad Duke is so spammy and easy to win, it is sad that this game really revolves around luck after you get the know how of the game down. I could pick a decent card needed for my build i'm going for that game, just to have an incredible card right behind it every time that my opponent just nabs up. against equal opponents its not about skill its about luck, and for some odd reason the game seems to spiral that luck after you've won a game or 2 against players to where the tavern is absolutely screwing you. Say you're building a Pelim deck and pick something basic like the volley card, and bam right behind it is the Duke players Pilfer right behind it. I will say out of all the decks that are in ToT easily Duke of crows is the most spammy and noob deck to play, its hard to lose with, cause only the agents are the only cards not so great in that entire line, every other card combos greatly.

Yep, I agree
when you say *sniping cards* what do you mean?
@@gypsyjay5789 just buying cards from the tavern, orgnum scales off of cards in your deck so a bigger deck means more power.
