Radon mitigation in super insulated slab

The hilly areas surrounding Fairbanks, Alaska, are known for having a high concentration of radon. It is common for homeowners to install radon mitigation systems in these areas to ensure healthy indoor air quality.
In this video, Ilya Benesch, building educator at the Cold Climate Housing Research Center, visits a construction site and explores how the contractor has installed a radon mitigation system.
