    You worked hard there to engineer a roll over, but that dam was amazingly strong. Finally I think an excavator is needed,

    That was a well-built dam! You sure do a lot of hard work! If I wasn't on a disability pension I would join.
    I'm wondering if your spring run-off is lower than 'normal.' (What's 'normal' but a setting on the dryer?) Here in Ottawa, Canada, it gets lower and lower every year. I grew up in a time when we 'always' had more than a meter of snow on the ground from December to April. Now we run the chance of having a green Christmas and the snow is mostly gone by mid-March. Some people are happy about this; however, they don't realize the effect it has on farmers, autobody repair shops, snow removal companies, ... ! How is it for your community?
    I'm not lecturing! English is one of the hardest languages to learn properly. There are few rules and most have exceptions. "That's just the way it is" is a common Enlish teacher's response. So, in English we would write your title as Massive 50 Foot Beaver Dam! "That's just the way ..."😉

    Actually I believe you know how to create a dam collapse. You need to take out the edges of the dam so it loses it structural integrity. The water pressure behind the dam puts great pressure of the center of the dam, but it depends on the height and width of the dam section and its structural makeup. It all about dam physics

    Can someone explain a few things? Why is this guy going around removing beaver dams? They're supposed to be good for the local wild ecology. The pools bring in lots of birds and other species and even arrest the spread of wildfires. Isn't there a better solution to help farmers like using a pump from the beaver pool to their irrigation fields? It's a natural reservoir after all
    The second question I have is why people like watching basically the same dam removal over and over across multiple videos. Sounds like a waste of time to me but you guys do you.

    • @Kenislovas
      @Kenislovas  Місяць тому +2

      Beaver dams blocking the channels which has to drain the fields. When channel is blocked reclamation system, which we have in our country, don’t work properly. Draining system erodes and affects the lands. The fields is not good for harvesting anymore.

    • @GiriK47
      @GiriK47 Місяць тому

      @@Kenislovas Thank you for the answer. I am glad that atleast you do not kill the beavers (I think). There are other youtube channels where they are killing them and showing off. I would find a way to use the beaver's skills to benefit the farmers. Even playing the sound of flowing water forces them to start building dams. This could be used to build natural reservoirs for farmers at strategic spots. It is always better to incorporate nature than to fight it. But, ah well, that would be easier said than done.
