Love you kids! Outside of Homer Alaska we got hit by one, it was calm, beautiful and you could see the mountains which is rare, all 5 of the kids, captain, deck hand had jackets on. All of the sudden a 20 foot wave came up out of no where. Our boat didn't capsize but one of the kids said "I could reach out and kiss the water". All the way upside down and back in seconds. I was more concerned about the driving and filming at the same time. Please know I’m not throwing hate your way. I love watching you guys. I started DDing because of y’all. But, I lost a friend from selfie driving. However, it’s only illegal to not have life jackets on board. Not illegal to not have them on. Just as long as you have enough vests for all. I grew up on the water. But, my parents always made the kids wear them. ❤️
A beautif place to raise a family. I also think i would get bored in a few months. I would have to keep busy, like have a business of my own. Good luck to you & maybe this is exactly what you need. Elly & Terry are so nice. They are a wonderful happy couple that can help you get a fresh start in life. Praying for you Chris, Holly & little Ellion. I enjoy your videos very much. You are a beautiful family.
If you plant this week, you will be able to get some winter crops in. Plant cabbage, Broc, caulif, spinach, collards, brussel sprouts, kale. Anything that you help make it through the winter. And all Holly's, college education, paralegal comes to a crapper because her too goo eyes over Chris with a beer and a good lovemaking session!!!!! Get with it. Them people, for whatever reason, want to give you guys a home! And don't be surprised Holly if you have to share Chris, which you both won't do and end up moving. End of story.
As a mum I don’t think I would live on an island with boat only access ...after several emergency trips to hospital with my kids when they were young , if I had been on that island I would have lost at least one of them.......bridges no problem but boat only depends so much on the weather etc . With an active little boy you are bound to have a few emergencies ( broken bones etc , high fevers , anaphylaxis , concussion is just a few of the trips I’ve had to rush my kids to the ER ) please think very seriously about the restrictions there will be...............I’m not sure why you would want to live there, Melanie wouldn’t be able to get there easily, everything is so far away..... I might sound like a bore but I wouldn’t....also life jackets are a must.
Jayme Powell I’m not judging them at all..I’m just thinking of some of the cons not just the pros....it’s very easy to get all excited and jump into something without really thinking of all the possible problems...I’d hate to see them stuck on an island in the middle of a storm with a very sick child..I’ve nearly lost my youngest and if we hadn’t lived very close to the hospital she wouldn’t have had a chance....I personally don’t think a 40 minute boat ride plus whatever drive time to a hospital is a good idea with young kids..I imagine Ellion will be a real dare devil like my brothers who were always breaking bones etc

Hello there. Wow what a boat cruise. Loved it. Ellion seemed a bit unsure of it. I personally wouldn't live on an Island . But that's up to you. Especially one that has no food store. Your healthy eaters generally and love greasy fruit as well as Ellion. It would be a huge lifestyle change. The Island also would work well with your DD business. You wouldn't find much of anything without the big lot stores. I agree to looking at this a a holiday like you said but nothing more. The lady and the Captain seem to be super nice people. My reason for not living on the Island is tropical storms that Island looks low and a big storm could wipe it out easily. Love you all so much . I'm the worrying Mama here. I'm old enough to be both your mom's. Lol So it's just a few words of wisdom is all. I also agree that the lady (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) she is a spitfire or firecracker. We love going to the boardwalks and listening to the musicians sing and play their instruments ,we think it's awesome. Great CD also from them. Well we're looking forwards to tomorrows video. Love ya all Teresa💞💞💞😁😁😁
LOL when I read that my mind say greasy food. I didn't even see that it said fruit until it was pointed out. I'm pretty sure it was meant as greasy food, though that is not really their favorite. They are big on sushi and pretty healthy foods in general. Or so that is my opinion of what I have seen. Just like most humans though, on occasion they like to try something new, different or maybe a bit on the guilty side. I say Yum! Have fun ya'all!

Mackinaw bridge is 5 miles long. Been over it several times. I traveled for 16 years. Almost better to drive the outside lanes, at least they are smooth. Michigan guy knows what I mean 😉.
Cross ed the Chesapeake bay bridge last week. A storm was start to come in. The skies were blue, pink and purple and reflecting in the water . It was just beautiful. But that tunnel freaks me out. Glad you guys had a good time !
i am terrified of the Chesapeake bay bridge; i don't like being over water for long periods of time, and i don't like narrow bridges. i rode as a passenger across the Chesapeake bay once, and i literally passed out from the anxiety of it, i spent most of the ride( while i was conscious) staring down at the floor board of the car i was in.
The longest US bridge is in Upper Michigan. It sways in high wind and shuts down on occasion. 5 miles long. People have actually blown off the thing and drowned. Escorts are available if you want. I did some thinking after I closed down youtube. As private or should I say the space you want on your property and space to do dumpster diving & storage or your findings and reselling & doing your candles, woodworking, I don't think this would work for you. I know it is really none of our business but from watching you looking at different homes we kind of know what you like. And you like your privacy to a certain point and this island everyone probably knows everyones business meaning no secrets on the island life. LOL I know just have fun you made a great friend but simply enjoy and maybe go visit your friend after you have found your forever home. I am 66 yrs old and could be your mom but it is your choice I am just voicing my opinion. I think you know what is best and being isolated on an island and you guys like to get out and go whenever you want and in the winter that might not be possible. From what I have seen on weather channels Maryland can be extremely cold and icy and you might be stranded on the island. Ok I will stop have fun for a few days and give Ellion a hug we all love you guys..... God Bless You and have a wonderful day.

Welcome to the Eastern Shore! As soon as I saw you crossing the Ches.Bay Bridge/Tunnel I knew where you were. You passed right by where I live, you didn't even show any of Virginia as you drove up to Maryland. Tons of interesting history in area. Enjoy!
Awesome ride on the boat the water looked so nice. Miles and Miles of open water, love it. Hi Ellen and Captain Terry. Us Kids never used a life jacket as a kid, on the lake or on the ocean. Captain Terry seems to know what he is doing out there, did you see what he drives at work. I'm bet your going to have a wonderful time over there Chris and Hollie. Love you all
I just watched a story about Smith Island yesterday. They were talking about how the island is sinking. Its such a beautiful place!
Well, I'm already in love with this place, and this is just the start of it all. Look forward to seeing the rest. 😊💖
Wow lots of fun looks awsome glad y’all are happy
keep safe on your travel guys...God Bless
Beautiful boat ride..thanks for sharing it with us❤
OMG you guy's! What a trip! What an adventure!! I am glad I get to live vicariously through you, because I could never go through those tunnels or over that bridge, beautiful or not!!! Those are two of my biggest phobias and fears!! I almost couldn't even watch, I was so anxious. In fact, I did have to look away for the tunnels, as I found I wasn't even breathing! Aaahhh!!!! If only I had the gutts to live my own life. BTW I'm so proud of you guys for the faith that you hold! It can be most difficult to do in the difficult times, but you both always hold it together and hold tight. I really admire that in you both! So please enjoy every moment to the fullest, and always stay as kind as you are!
Thank you Shauna :)
@@theChrisAndHoLLieShow Thank you for what you do! You really are like family in the since that I enjoy the adventures with you. I hurt when you hurt, laugh when you laugh and take great joy and pride in your family. So I thank you very much for sharing all that you do, and for being so personal on a forum that can often be so judgemental and unkind. Just keep being yourselves, and when it comes to the yucky stuff, think like a duck and let it just roll off your back, like the rain and water just rolls right off the ducks back! Quack quack! Love to you all!
Beautiful. Enjoy. Love y'all guys.❤️
Cant wait for Episode two! This video makes me terribly homesick!
I would advise you both to watch your backs. I just feel uncomfortable about all this. Hope I am wrong. Love you both and the wee man 💙💙❤️

Have a great time
Wow that trip is a little too much, all those tunnels and that boat ride no way. Could you imagine takeing ellion to school everyday at what 5am and in the rain. Not to mention whats it cost to ride that boat to and from twice a day.
Home schooling . Ellion is too little to ferry back and forth by himself.
New adventures are coming... Have fun and thank you for the trip,, water included... Sounds like a fun time while some working...
yall are making me hungry for some of those crab cakes

Howdy yall...Hope every thing works out for yall.. The guy that was listening to music and then walked away looked stoned out of his gourd,,lol. about the 11:33 marker

@@theChrisAndHoLLieShow he was moving very slow..lol.. oh my gosh I had to watch it twice.. so funny. Thanks for that laugh this morning. Precious Ellion getting so big. He is so precious. Where yall gonna dumpster dive on that Island..and is it haunted? I want to see that.. 🤗🤗🤗
Good times.... good luck with trip. Blessing
I use to hate going on that bridge. It still scares me. Lol.
Try the Bay Bridge in Maryland. That one is so high, people have special drivers drive them over the bridge. They get scared out of their wits. 🤯😩🤪
@@jodiyoung5578 no thanks. Lol . Thanks for the warning.🤮🤢🙀🙈❣❣
Wow it looks amazing and what nice people, I would love it, enjoy the island because its very cool to me, ENJOY, ☺❤

Love the adventure already 😍!!!!!
Other than the long boat ride over my heart was smitten by the first glance!💜💜💜
Love the wind generators we have several thousand of them here in Texas maybe tens of thousands
I was on Chesapeake bay bridge in February 1998 with 2 cats in the car. I believe it's 20 miles long, but I can be wrong.
Damn I didn’t want it to end...can’t wait until the next video.😎😎
New sub! What is the band name, I love it...actually had me thinking and tearing up.

Amazing. Shall be a new experience for you guys. A new way of life.
how nice of you to do this just subbed
I thought you might be down in the Florida Keys , there is a bridge called the 7 mile bridge between Marathon & Big Pine kry. It seems to tske forever to cross it and it's all over wster, but it's a beautiful view. This looks like a beautiful place as well , enjoy .
Right away, I thought the same thing, either Chesapeake or the 7 mile
Can’t wait looks like a great time!!
♥️♥️♥️
OMG this place is so cool I hope you all have a great adventure
What a beautiful place! And a nice thing of Petite Fireball to invite y’all. 😁
I’m a bit of homebody as I’ve gotten older, and would probably be very happy living in such a beautiful place. Rather you decide on moving there or just a vacation, enjoy yourselves, while on the island. And try some of the cake! 🍰 😋 Now I’m off to visit on Petite Fireball’s UA-cam.
Looks like alot of work to get back and forth. I got nauseous from the boat ride. Enjoy. See what it's all about.
You know some kids would cry when it got so rough and water comming in but not Ellion sure a easy going kid, takes after his dad on that I think.
