All his cons is whay I'm looking in a smartphone. 1k price(flagship) curve dispaly for premium feeling camera bump so that my mom let me buy case large size for gaming and streaming slipery makes a second reason to buy case
One thing to possibly add are the display problems that many had with the phone at launch, though it seems that those have been fixed (as well as the accidental touch problem with the curved screen) with software updates.
@@ChrisJohannsen If the Snapdragon Ultra was being sold worldwide, I wouldnt think the Oneplus 8 Pro is the best. But, as things stand, the Oneplus 8 Pro is THE FLAGSHIP to beat.
Literally the best screen, fastest charging, best software, and one of the best cameras. It's crazy good. I almost wish they cut out the IP label, wireless charging, and SD 865 so it could be closer to $700
Slow actual wireless charging(5Watts with actual wireless chargers) so what's the point if you have to pay $70 for a proprietary wireless charger. Also cameras are lackluster compared to competition. Selfie cam only does 1080p at 60 compared to 4k on other phones not to mention it Isof terrible quality. Remember, it's not budget anymore for $900.
I would've preferred a little more thickness - in exchange for a 5000mA battery, less pointed edges camera bump, and more confident side thickness for better grip.
Curved Screen...for me, is one of the main reason that stopped me from getting OnePlus and Samsung flagship phones. I cannot unsee the light flares on the sides.
Little Boy Blue for me it’s the lack of affordable tempered glass that actually fully adheres to the screen. They need to stop with these curved screens!
I agree with you regarding the curved glad screen. I remember vividly that when I had my older Galaxy s8 with it's curved glass screen, I wound up really disliking that shape of screen simply because just like every other reviewed said, you'll always get so many false positive touches.... and it really does get so frustrating, and annoying. The only other thing that would potentially stop me from buying the OnePlus 8 pro is the camera quality. Now, yes, the 8 pro vs every other previous OnePlus phones camera quality did get much better. There's no denying that whatsoever! However, it's camera quality isn't surpassing/exceeding that if the pixel 4 XL. I'm not even trying to sound like a hater here honestly... But we'll all just have to wait and see what the new pixel 5's look like... That's for sure...the screen quality, ram, processed, battery all scream excellent specs. As they should in 2020. Again, I'm just not completely sold on the fact that it's cameras can take beautifully amazing pictures. That's where the pixels shine! Oxygen OS does look like a very speedy and clean version of Android that's not a pixel and not a Galaxy phone with one UI on it. The battery seems like it's going to be a great but with those screen refresh rates and high resolution screen, you're going to need that for damn sure!
@@eppsislike Yeah, the curved screen posed a slight problem for me on my Galaxy S8. I mean, was it a deal-breaker? No. But it certainly wasn't an advantage of the phone either. It just seemed to me that no matter how I would hold the phone, I would wind up accidentally touching some part of the touch screen and opening up an application, or enabling some feature of the phone accidentally.
@Wall Rod Just saw your app. Immediately bought it and applied a beautiful landscape to my 6t. Great work dude. Will you make any specific hole punch adapted wallpapers for the 8 pro? That would be gold. Cheers!
