    Thank you for the video. How do you remove the emblem off the back side of the machine? I tried to turn/rotate it but it won't budge.

      Clockwise about 1/8 turn, comes straight out. Instead of using pressure on the disk, put a piece of tape on top and one on the bottom of the disk so that you can pull the top tape right and the bottom tape left to accomplish the twist. If this doesn't work, some turn counterclockwise, but that's how you get them off.

    Great video!!! I'm also keeping a 2005 Z5 running with more than 45K single-drink equivalents dispensed. I've replaced the heat exchanger, but it has begun to dribble from the drain onto the side of the drip tray/drawer. I noticed the new heat exchangers have a membrane seal on the drain. Any idea how/where to source one of those membranes over the heat exchanger drain?

    Help! Husband ordered top hinged cover replacement but it doesn't have instructions on how to install. Current cover hangs on one hinge when opened. Hinges look delicate so afraid to torque on them. Do I have to remove back? Do I need to order tool to open once back cover is off? Fingers crossed your not on the golf course.

      Sorry but the short answer is yes. Amazon sent me the tool in one day and costs about $8. The video shows how to access the top. Going golfing now. Hope this helped.

    Left Side panel and front panel is not removed in this video. I can’t get left side panel out.
    Appreciate the video anyways

      The right panel removal is at 1 minute 40 seconds, the left panel is at 4 minutes 14 seconds. I don't know how to take off the front panel because I never had to. Thanks for watching.

    is it possible to take the right side panel out without first removing the back panel?

    • @therangeproteeguy7842
      @therangeproteeguy7842  3 роки тому

      No, the right side can only be removed once the back has been removed. You will damage one or both of them if you don't do it in order.

      @@therangeproteeguy7842 thanks! my machine has been leaking ever since i moved apartments - i hoped something just got a bit loose during the transport and wanted to take a look at it before sending it off for repairs but i don't have that service repair key to take off the back panel :( bummer

      Search "Jura oval head key", they cost less than $10.

      @@therangeproteeguy7842 Got one and checked, turned out to be a faulty Y shaped valve. I got a new one and wanted to replace it... the guy who normally fixes my machine told me it should be easy enough to do on my own, but i've been struggling with it for 2 hours :( do you happen to have any sort of manual that would help me through it?

    These videos are super useful! I just bought a used Z5 on Craigslist for $100. Water will NOT run from the hose on any cycle (coffee, espresso, or even Rinse). Water will not come out of the nozzles but will appear in the drip tray... Any ideas why that might be happening?

      Sounds like a leak. Did you take apart the machine and watch it run?

      @@flashkandy i tried taking it apart but the front face panel had too many screws so I didn't feel comfortable. I'm thinking you're right because I've been able to blow into the hose and nothing is "clogged"
