I built this jig and used it successfully for a big crown job that included some outside miters whose precise angles varied a bit from 45. So that I could see exactly where the angle cursor was pointing on the degree markings on the saw's detent plate, I found it useful to drill holes (~1 1/4") at the ends of the 45 deg. kerf cuts in the jig board as sighting windows.
I'm shattered, I took the grinder apart without making a mark. And now my grinder is working but is very course
@@87tunj at the 11:05 mark in the video you will see me rotate the ring back and forth. What you need to do is see how far it goes back and forth and set it to the center of the movement back and forth. Reinstall grinder and when you put the grind knob back on , install it at mid grind. This should fix it. Then set it to the grind you want.
@@87tunj at 11:05 mark in the video you see me moving the ring back and forth. Set it to the middle of the back and forth. Reinstall and when you put the Grind knob back on install it at mid grind. Once the knob is installed you can move it to the grind you want.
@@therangeproteeguy7842 legend thank you.
I'm doing research before I disassemble my machine for a cleaning. Is this a PEP grinder? Thanks!
@@TheSloppyDingo I don't know what that means. PEP
@@therangeproteeguy7842 PEP stands for pulse extraction process. Certain machines in the Z line use this technology. They have different grinders.
Ultimate minimalist continuous crown stop. Totally elegant and effective! I'll be copying this setup in the morning. Thank you!

thanks, did you know if its posible to use another trimmer head on this model? i want to use a head with brush cutter disc
@@lalolanda8921 Sorry, I haven't looked into it. I had the replacement. Apparently nowhere to be found now.
I cannot reach my high ones, they look awful when they pod. I was able to pull the little ones as long as I cut away the branch under them.
This was exactly the video I needed! Thank you!
Any clue where to get the head assembly at?
I haven't had any luck finding them anymore.
I need it too. Mine broke and need the replacement.
You made my day,...👏
Left Side panel and front panel is not removed in this video. I can’t get left side panel out. Appreciate the video anyways
The right panel removal is at 1 minute 40 seconds, the left panel is at 4 minutes 14 seconds. I don't know how to take off the front panel because I never had to. Thanks for watching.
this single segment line design is ridiculous...its so wasteful because u toss out so much line....spooled design is best....should fire the designer.
I bought my ENA 8 brand new and took the grinder apart to clean it. Interestingly it didn’t come with the 3 springs and bearings. 😅
Were they missing or is it a different grinder?
I think some do and some dont. Mine didnt either
Thank you
So easy to do! Thank you!
I know this was several years ago, but do you remember if you had to get an alignment after replacing the struts?
I would recommend you have the alignment checked. Mine did not need one after I replaced them
Nice job! How did you depress the strut? And where did you find that info. Looking for it myself
I use the auto shop on base because I'm retired Navy. There are plenty of videos that show you how to do it. Search "compress strut". These tools can be borrowed from AutoZone or a store like it. Be very careful because it's very dangerous if you don't do it right.
Отличное виде, смонтировано профессионально, все довольно ясно и точно показано без лишних слов. Thank you! Worked great on mine
the ball bearing thing was excellent....saved my machine :)
I need to know how to replace the front cover... can anyone advise on this pls :)
Thanks, my head fell off and I had no idea how the head attached to the shaft. Now to the hardware store to find the lock washer.
This is completely useless without showing us how to remove the grinder from the machine.
That is why I also have a video that shows how to take it out. Thanks for the feedback.
How is it useless? It is much more useful then anything you’ve contributed to youtube.
Rude comment.
Do you know where I can buy one of these replacement heads? I can't find them in any home improvement stores or online parts retailers.
I got it at Sears parts direct. It looks like there are no more on the entire internet. I don't know if there's another head that will fit.
Yeah I just ordered from SearsParts after scouring the web. Ouch to the shipping cost :(
Good video visually for the model year you are working on. The 2014-2015 Kia Sorento LX FWD has the exact same design for the rear shock mounts. This is the only video I've seen that shows the four point bracket that shields the upper shock mount. You don't have to remove the entire wheel well sound proofing panel though. It has a vertical slip in the fabric that provides access to the top 17 mm bolt. There are two plastic philips screw clips that you can remove on either side of the vertical slit that when removed you can pull the fabric apart slightly to remove that bolt. Also the anchor bolt that attaches the top of the shock is a 24 mm deep socket. I use a battery pack impact wrench to do any fastening and unfastening of bolts and nuts or if need be s breaker bar. Those tools really speed up the process. And as a really important precaution always use jack stands when working in proximity of the underside of a vehicle and never count on a trolley jack because if it rolls there's no stopping it from shifting the vehicle which always has very bad outcomes.
Thank you 👍
Literally the only video on youtube with this style head what a pain guess im returning the fits all home depot head
Very helpful. Thanks. I needed to cut the press on washer as well. Stupid design.
Thanks for the video. I have a Jura Impressa J6 with a grinder like the one in your video. It wasn't working...no beans going into the grinder, so I replaced the grinder burrs. This didn't resolve the problem. Similar to someone else who left a comment here, I'm getting a "Fill Beans" error message even when there are plenty of beans in the hopper. I cleaned the sensors so they shouldn't be blocked (looks like there are two sensors that shoot a beam across the hopper to check for beans). I didn't need to replace the burrs after all, it's something else. I've taken the grinder apart a few times now to see what I missed and can't find anything wrong, but it's not feeding beans through and I'm getting the "Fill Beans" message on the screen. Sounds like this might be a semi-common issue. Any ideas?
Sorry, no. I'm not a technician. I actually just figure mine out whenever I have an issue. Haven't worked on a J6.
Have you resolved this?
Hey! Not sure what search terms I needed to find you first but all the tutorials want to teach how to replace the line. Thanks for the video. Just wanted to see somebody else f*** it up before I did.
Help! Husband ordered top hinged cover replacement but it doesn't have instructions on how to install. Current cover hangs on one hinge when opened. Hinges look delicate so afraid to torque on them. Do I have to remove back? Do I need to order tool to open once back cover is off? Fingers crossed your not on the golf course.
Sorry but the short answer is yes. Amazon sent me the tool in one day and costs about $8. The video shows how to access the top. Going golfing now. Hope this helped.
Dude I fucking love you!!!!
Perfect, thanks!
I am definitely going to make one. Instead of the hole I am going to make a slot for bolts with washers and wing nuts.
How do you add the string to This attachment
Please read my reply to Victor 2410, I explain it there.
REALLY UNSAFE RELYING JUST ON THAT HYDRAULIC JACK WITHOUT A JACK STAND OR BLOCKING UP THE CAR. SAFETY FIRST PEOPLE.
There is a jack stand. Thanks for looking out tho.
And yet he is still alive
Where did you get the replacement head from
Sorry, but it's been a while and I really don't remember where I ordered it from.
Part number is in the description
Hello great video. What do you do when you took it apart, and discover there are no markings?
Assemble the grinder completely. The top of the grinder can be clicked clockwise or counterclockwise. Once installed, take the grinder to the center of the clockwise counterclockwise stops. (Example: if there are 16 clicks, take it to eight). Then install the course/ fine knob so that it is centered between the course and fine setting. This should line up all the gears, then turn your course knob back and forth and you can see that it just adjusts the collar back and forth too. Place it back to center and continue to reassemble coffee maker.
A big thumbs up!! Thanks for that.
IM MAKING ONE TOMORROW. IM THROWING A LIKE AT YOU
Great helpful video Thx, Q: do i have to buy the Strut with the coil or with out the coil (mount Assembly) ?
If you don't have access to the tool required to compress and install the springs, you can just purchase new ones with springs. Just a little more expensive.
is it possible to replace only the motor? looking at an ENA9 micro where the grinder doesn't run and "fill beans" message appears. Hoping the chute is clogged, but if not then hoping i can rebuild with new motor instead of spending $400 on new grinder assembly
It can most likely be done, I just wouldn't know where to get just the motor. Good luck to you.
You will probably want to cut your side rails back a little more to allow for angles larger than 45 deg. which are quite common, especially on outside corners. I have seen outside corners measure 94 deg. requiring a 47 deg. miter cut.
I went fishingn yesterday spent 7 hrs only catch was 2 small catfish 1 stingray
