Argentina was a paradise where nazis flew to hide from being judged after the war. Many died of old age without paying for it
I think it's just more of an open secret that many German captains and soldiers fled to Argentina to escape any potential prosecution. I don't think many people think they took a significant amount of scientists exactly. The Americans did definitely take a ton of scientists though

Nah, we're pretty aware of what happened between 1939 and 1945. History lessons in school are pretty focused on that time. We don't treat that time like US treat the genocide of the indigenous population.
The N*zis were in fact kind and respectful when coming to foreign cities to occupy them. I have heard many Russian and Romanian testimonies about it. And the US did SO MUCH worse things for CENTURIES, unlike Germany. Just proves that victors write history.

Obviously I know it's a joke, but the idea of Germans not knowing what happened in 1939-45 is really far from the mark. They are very serious about educating their kids about what happened, what went wrong and why it can never happen again. Holocaust denial is an actual crime in Germany.

TBH, having lived in China, I can tell you that the Imperial Japanese were not appreciably better people than the Nazis.
