any way to get his actual game he won? he's at end of Part 2 but indicates he returns for his game?? either way, way awesome to see this footage of our dad!
Someone mentioned the show airing in Jack's hometown, Louisville. WLKY signed on in September 1961 and was the ABC affiliate until 1990, when it went to CBS (and has done better), so WLKY carried "Seven Keys" from September until the end of the network run in 1964. I don't think there was ever a show hosted by either Jack or brother Tom Kennedy (Jim Narz) that wasn't carried in Louisville; Jack's version of "Concentration" did the seemingly-impossible and beat "To Tell The Truth" on WAVE head-to-head at 7 PM. "Seven Keys" went back to KTLA after ABC dropped it; it ran until January 1965. There was a mention on this video of announcer Jack Powers. He went with Narz to ABC, but I don't know what he did after "Seven Keys" ended.
Due to FCC shenannigans, Louisville, KY-the hometown of Jack and Jim "Tom Kennedy" Narz-didn't have a fulltime ABC-TV affiliate until 1961. WAVE-TV (primary NBC) picked this show off the ABC schedule because of Jack Narz' hometown connections. Did pretty good in local ratings!
Question here: at the end of credits, I see the "Paramount Television Productions" logo. So, was "Seven Keys" produced at/by KTLA-TV for ABC, or was this a syndicated version?
thank you so much! that's my dad, Alan Matis
There should be a reboot of "Seven Keys".
This is such an incredible find! I thank you so very much for uploading this awesome rare gem for all of us :-) .
This program originally aired Friday, Feb. 10, 1961, the Friday before Monday, Feb. 13, which the announcer mentioned.

@King Bee, From what I have read, Seven Keys was shown only locally on KTLA, then went nationwide on ABC---never syndicated.

Brothers and I sent in the entry postcards when the big prize included a go-kart. Cost like 3 cents a card. Didn’t win.
