I know this video is 5 years old, but I’ve never even held a crochet needle before but I wanted to see if it’s something I could learn and this was the most well taught tutorials I’ve watched! It actually made sense and you didn’t lost me once! I look forward to trying this out 😊
The stars are beautiful....especially adding the button and the bow. A couple of things I had to see again, and again. You were putting 2 so's to begin the 3rd rnd; and slip stitching to the opening between the 3 half dc's. I tried the magic loop and gave up. Thank you for sharing.

Just made this, but I couldn't work out how do the magic ring so I did a chain 4 and slip stitched to make a ring and did it that way. awesome tutorial :D
I LOVE this star. However, I can't seem to get my puff stitch as long as yours. It always ends up just wrapping around and around my crochet hook :( hints? thanks so much for posting the video! It is awesome :)
Hello Mary! I apologize for it taking me so long to reply. As you make your stitch you want to pull up the loop to the desired length. ( make them bigger than you want at first for practice) Then ( if you are right handed) use your left hand and pinch the first loop at the bottom with your first finger and thumb. How do you start this star if you can't do the magic circle? I can't follow the way you do the magic circle it always falls apart and I just know how to do the slip knot on the chain???????????????????????????????????????????????
