Best looking carbs on the market. Badass pieces for sure
Saw the Billet series at PRI can't wait to do business with you guys!
Another great product from a team of professionals. I can’t wait to have this on my car.
How do these compare to prosystems.
Is this the Fitech Ken Farrell?
Can they make a Blow thru carburetor?
E85?
Compatible with Holley parts?
Great question
@@danielbranch5462 From what Ive been reading in multiple places, yes.
Nice stuff, but website doesn't do well explaining features/series. I miss catalogues... series, part number syntax, etc: explained in open, prefacing part numbers. I fear that as we lose the guys that had to hash out print layouts, the only way to get that info wil be to talk to the engineers.
Where the carburetors made u.s.a or ???????
Everything is machined and assembled in Michigan.
All I care about is what it does on the engine
The secret I discovered about FST's - other budget brands like Proform, Quick fuel, and even the Summit brand all have manufacturer warranties. FST carbs look great but have absolutely no warranty. If u open a box and get a leaking carb or bent linkage - too bad u own it. That's reason enough for me to steer clear of FST. They talk a great game but if they won't even warranty their own work - are they really worth anything at all? Your hoping not to throw away 100's and 100's of dollars... maybe more than a thousand When u buy an FST carb. You pay - and then you get what you get. For just a little more money you can get assurances that if it's busted, you can at least get another one. Not with FST. And lets face it - they're all Holley knock offs anyway - with the same characteristics as a Holley.
Right. I’ll stick with a budget carb like my 200 dollar brawler 850 that was tuned from someone that’s been building carbs for 40 years in the drag racing world. Runs a lot better then my 950 prosystems carb that I got rid of.
I use AED ( Advance Engine Design ) carbs for this very reason. My engine builder recommended them and I gave AED a shot. Well, my first AED carb leaked around the fuel inlet fitting to one of the bowls. I tried multiple fittings and aluminum, steel and nylon washers. Couldn’t get it to seal. Sent an email to AED on a Sunday for warranty information. The President of AED responded that day…..on a SUNDAY. They sent me a prepaid return shipping label. They called me to ask what type of -8 AN fittings I liked. About two days later, the carb shows up with brand new fittings that don’t leak and I didn’t pay a dime.
@@abolishwelfare Thanks - Good to know about their great customer service. I'm also running an AED. I've had Zero issues with it.
Warranty Information is at the bottom of the Instructions on their website.
