Locktite brother or fingernail polish on the threads that receive the nuts. Some of my Marine snipers use locktite and some use fingernail polish on the threads (just a tiny bit), because some say locktite is a bit too strong and some say it's what they want.

Bro I swear I thought the wing quick couples were tight took a shot and the nut on the other side fell off luckily I found it never over torque the nuts I found out the hard way 🤦🏽♂️
If you don't want to be tracking a wild hog at night, then aim in front of the shoulder on wild hogs (neck shot).

Would like to have seen where the bullet struck the hog.
I thought you had dogs that could have found the hog for you. At night a catch dog is safer and easier for the trailing a wounded or dead hog.
That Grendel will do some damage with the Hornady sst.
UA-cam won't let them show dog content on hogs. I saw other content creators complain about that.

That is why I brought it up.
His boys had a couple pups in training along with the older dogs. He doesn't have to show it any way just explain he used the dog to keep from losing the hog.
I enjoyed the videos where the next generation is getting out to the woods. Also the family together for work days at the camp. Always good food, friends, family and times.

I always try high shoulder, usually DRT, but would have likely taken that head down top of neck shot when it was facing, I don't like to wait as that dog bark could have sent it scurrying. Heart shot can run a long way, lungshot as well. They are dying, but only thinking of escape. If they barrel into something that doesn't budge, the just run in a tangent to that obstruction. They run until they are out of blood.
Not tracking in the dark is perfectly fine when you goal is irradication.
