Being honest european and American education system and faculties are much better than India’s , I am thankful to MIT OCW, khan Academy, course era, EDX and UA-cam through which I got to learn something and I hope I keeping on learning more
Theory knowledge is awesome in India on basis and ground levels, which gives basic of all. Like try geography with American teens. But practical knowledge in education system is invisible.
Bro, they are coming for an exchange program. Means, they are studying only one semester of their entire course at IIT. Means, they're doing their course at their parent university only. Regarding the fee, they have to pay the same fee at the parent university, and have to pay extra for traveling to India if no scholarship is there. Hence, they're coming to explore, not because they can save money by studying here.
I suspect that most of these foreign students are at iit-madras for an inexpensive holiday/ vacation. I don't think that they have any serious, scholarly intent, and I don't blame them. some suggestions: #1: an iit's libraries ought to stay open all night; yes, 24 hours of each day. #2: iit-m should be more selective; it should not merely serve as an inexpensive holiday/ vacation home for foreign students.

You have to work your ass for to get into a government college .
