I was expecting only 90 seconds, but thank you Adaco for some of those extra scenes! And Tiago Monteiro makes MiniHistory to make a REAL cameo appearance in the series!
The ending was a great touch! I always felt sorry for Monteiro , Schumi and Barichello could've show a bit of support from him on the podium despite the race situation. He is imo a great driver and deserved more from the sport. His podium was just a little bit of justice for him in F1.
President Casey to be honest i dont blame them. remember 14 cars pulled out before the start so it was obvious why the ferraris left quietly and were in no mood for celebrating. but well done to tiago.
@@UltimateFormula1Fan that and they where told by the FIA after the race not to celebrate or stay too long so the fans won’t get to them and potentially get hurt
I still remember this "race" like it was yesterday. The BBQ Scene is best! Also Fernando apparently already knew back in those days how to relax best ;D
An awesome episode on a horrible race. The only time in my 20 year history as a F1 viewer that I have intentionally turned off the TV. Please keep it coming mate :)
Uhu!!! Finally . I like this race, because this really unique. Good video. I don't remember the moment pit stop of albers, but that's funny. Tiago Monteiro is really and make great happy. Liked participation of Tiago Monteiro.
I was at the Indy Cars Grand Prix of Indianapolis and before they started the track invasion I met a guy who was at the race that day. He told ke he read on a forum that Michelin teams were thinking of not racing but it wasn't confirmed so when it did happen he was like "oh shit, they're actually doing it." And with the fact the US GP was the cheapest race of the year and so many people from around the world came to watch. You could tell the boos were loud and that a lot of people were pissed
Loved the Tiago Monteiro speaking part.If only we could see this more often. But I guess Iberians stick for each other,so this might have been one-time deal.
It was just because he's a great fan of the series and I asked him, but we have real drivers/riders who are fan of the series but the contracts don't allow them to join us as much as they would.
When #MichaelSchumacher (#Germany) won the 2005 #USGP followed by #RubensBarrichello (#Brazil), it was another 1-2 finish for #Ferrari and #Jordan's #TiagoMonteiro (#Portugal) finished his only podium in #F1 #history. #Bridgestone drivers only #Michelin not allowed
Hehe, very funny, except that I think the Michelin drivers at Indy 2005 wanted to race; it was the teams and the FIA who stopped them and didn't come to a compromise; there was no drivers strike like South Africa '82.
Because it WAS a historic race. For all the wrong reasons, yes, but the six car race at Indy is quite the unforgettable moment in 2000's F1. It would be a crime to leave it out.
Everyone: 2019 French GP was is awful, on my old days had a real racing 2004 Hunagry GP: Hahaha 2008 European GP: Hahahahahaha 2005 US GP: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Formula 1 in the mid-2000s was a mess of unnecessary rules. 2005 was the height of this, as tyre changes during the race were deemed illegal, unless a failure or change of conditions happened. Watch Kimi's suspension failure at Nurburgring to see why that was stupid. Michelin were always pushing the limit with tyres. For Indy, a very unique set of circumstances for F1 as they used Nascar turn 1 as their final turn, done at full throttle. Michelin made an error with the tyres they brought, as each and every one would fail after a handful of laps at race speed through Nascar 1, so a chicane was put forward, but needed every team and the FIA, to sign off on it, of which didn't happen. So knowing it wasn't safe to race, every Michelin shod car voluntarily retired from the race, leaving only those on Bridgestone tyres to race. No doubt not the way Michael and Ferrari wanted to get a win in 2005 (it ended up being their only that season) but that's just how things ended up. Also, Paul Stoddart of Minardi was especially unhappy to see the race go ahead as it meant Jordan were able to gain a big advantage in the constructors championship.
ThePhoenixWylde I just have to say, it's more like Indycar turn one. But yeah, the walls of the tyre couldn't handle the turn. I think at least Trulli and Räikkönen were very keen to race as Trulli was on podium and Räikkönen was in the championship battle and both were on the front row
"No doubt not the way Michael and Ferrari wanted to get a win in 2005" I would say that was exactly how they wanted it, considering that a 100% consensus for the chicane was impossible due to Ferrari not even showing up to the meeting (according to Minardi's reconstruction). Everyone else was fine with it (including Minardi and Jordan) to add the chicane, only Bernie was against, but he said he was willing to let it happen if everyone else agreed.
I would argue it's still not how they wanted to get a win. Simply put Ferrari with their budgets needs to win to justify it so they will absolutely take the win by any means necessary but I doubt anyone at the team was very happy with the win in these circumstances, you could see it with the drivers particularly. Was a desperate period for Ferrari, honestly not unlike now.
Just out of interest, what's keeping you from doing minivintages of older classics like 82 monaco (race nobody wanted to win), 93 Donington (c'mon, lap of the century) or 85 imola (Where everyone ran out o fuel but prost)?
Easy: I don't have those grids done yet. I made all of them from 2000 to nowadays, but I don't have in mind making older ones. For making a simple chapter (it doesn't mean it has to be only F1, it's also for races like 24h LeMans or 500 Indy) I need to make ALL the drivers, and I don't have plans for that
Tbh, Im glad this happened as a bridgestone fan. Michelin has long monopolizing the speed world, whether its Bugatti, Koenigsegg or Hennessey or any shit, they all use Michelin. I would love to give Michelin my middle fingers in the air.

KrazyKennez where have you been mate. U haven't uploaded since Spain and your channel is awesome
You got Tiago to actually record a video for you to put here.
That is AWESOME! :D
How cool was the Tiago Montiero cameo!!! He had every right to be happy, I never begrudged him celebrating on the podium.
Finally the best race *EVER* has a MiniDrivers version. ;)
Nice to have the participation of Thiago Monteiro !! Congrats !
I loved that Tiago detail. Perfection.

Amazing episode. Really like the way you draw 2005 cars. And it's always nice to see Tiago. One of the most down to earth guys in racing.

I think most of us only remember the start... the bottle with Barrichello and Tiago on podium. But it happened a couple of things as you can see

Tiago at the end. Beautiful
another great job for MR.Adaco
nice video as I expected but I love your videos and channel
That was epic race in the Minidrivers version
At least Tiago earned that podium by completing a full race distance, rather than the farce we saw on Sunday
1:34 - 1:40 my fav part

Oh, and a message from Monteiro! Cool.
1:54 little did he know, the crew member was Lewis Hamilton with his hammer

Great Tiago. It was a good driver for THAT Jordan. Maybe he deserved more races to take part in.
thank you
nice formation lap. Hopefully that will be added when it comes to Australia. Incase if other drivers make error or engine failure. 😉

The sad trulli part on the bbq scene?

Is that Monteiro's reply to this video at the end of the vid? And what happen in the '03 Brazillian GP?
Michael David I was going to give you a spoiler, but I decided I won't do it now
