That watch reminds me of one of the old Hamilton watches from the 1930s. I forget the model name. The case was a bit smaller than this and the sun-seconds dial was at 6pm.

Why dont someone do a 4 o'clock crown positioning with this movement to push the second registry up to 9? That 7 o'clock position looks weird to me for some reason.

By the way recently I bought a longines named MONUMENT, model L4. 661 4, I found this chrono at selling network such as chrono24 or ebay but not find any review at youtube, could you tell me this is real fm longines or fake? I bought it because it has old longines logo, onion style pusher and crown, 12 o'clock date window has a inside bead glass showing the date, very attractive outlook.
Decently I bought a 70's IWC c. 8541B with rare roman index on the dial, charm & elegant. I know PP also has calatrava, IWC after 1980 stop calatrava ang change to portofino. Do you kbow if IWC avoid applying same name [calatrava] under two companies?

The watch does come with a two year warranty. The movement is a simple one to service as well. Normally as long as you can provide a regular service every 3-5 years, a watch will last forever.

I don’t think it would make a difference haha. 12,3 and 6 are commonly seen.

Hi, I’m not sure to be honest. But pretty much any vintage watch with similar case design to a Patek Calatrava will be described as “Calatrava.”
My friend has an omega constellation, its back golden badge change to copper color seems oxidation, do you know why? Can it be redone or restoration?
