Thank you never heard of it but it's interesting to know it doesn't harm our intestines. It's in the soil when I was a child I use to eat dirt, and drink water from a one, hank you for letting us know, it does not reproduce in water. Good information
Thank you for your question! We do not manufacture Bt so we are unable to answer what specific medium is required for Bt to multiply. However, you could look for scientific literature on Google Scholar regarding your question: scholar.google.com/ You could also consider reading our Bt fact sheet to learn more about it: npic.orst.edu/factsheets/btgen.html If you need help navigating these sites or if you have other questions, please call us at 800-858-7378 (+1 541-737-6091 if calling from outside the United States), Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm Pacific Time to speak directly with a Pesticide Specialist.
Hello tabatha furlotte, Thank you for your question. Please see the links below for more information on this subject. We would be happy to talk with you about this further over the phone. As you might imagine, the potential risk from any pesticide is complex and situation specific. At your convenience, please call us at 800-858-7378, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Pacific Time. NPIC@OSU Are you funded by Monsanto? Because i have heard extensive research about BT toxins causing allergies, and causes gastrointestinal problems.. Here is some mice fed BT corn showed a huge range of immune responses. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19007233 How about all the "New Class" of autoimmune inflammatory diseases? BT is the ingredient on fly and mosquito traps, why don't you eat one of those before you get back to me.
tabatha furlotte no, eating this www.arbico-organics.com/product/mosquito-dunks-bacillus-thuringiensis-israelensis-bti/natural-mosquito-control-products is not safe. Ask for PROOF they are not funded by Monsanto.
The testing done on natural BT toxins are isolated from the e.coli bacteria. The protein would be different from what is in the GM crop. The BT toxin being produced from the plant is not the same from the natural BT toxin, and nearly every pro GMO website will admit that.
The poison is a protein, proteins are denatured by stomach acid, not "killed" or made "dead". So these untangled and possibly cleaved proteins make it though all our digestive tract, which do get into the blood. See www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21338670
Thank you for your comment. Scientifically it isn’t toxic. The genes that are coded into the corn are mostly corn genome with just a small coding sequence from the bacteria added. The only part of the bacteria added is the sequence that codes for the protein that kills some bugs. It would be much worse without it because our yield would be considerably lower, and much more expensive. Your cells do not interact with this protein from the bacteria because we don’t have the same enzymes a bacteria has. It is broken down by the Acidic pH in your stomach where the protein dies/dentures.
@Mr. DroCro The WHO, EPA, EFSA and 281 other agencies all affirm that GMOs and glyphosate are totally safe and cause no unintended consequences. Full global consensus! All 284 global health and safety agencies agree. Yes, this is the mother of all GMO safety citations and a stake in the heart of all anti-biotech conspiratards: www.siquierotransgenicos.cl/2015/06/13/more-than-240-organizations-and-scientific-institutions-support-the-safety-of-gm-crops/ On the linked page is a hyperlink of proof for each of those 284 agencies. Some may not be in English. Only the Russians and the IARC now discredited by bribery disagree.
@Mr. DroCro 2019 information - One billion acres of Bt crops are planted with no unintended consequences: allianceforscience.cornell.edu/blog/2019/02/one-billion-acres-bt-crops-zero-unintended-consequences/
@Mr. DroCro You idiot! Monsanto is GONE. Shut down. Absorbed. Only Bayer AG exists now. I listed THE ENTIRE FUCKING WORLD'S heath and safety agencies. How is a company that shut down two years ago capable of "buying off" the entire world?? Moron! No food you can get is 'natural' any more. That ended 10,000 years ago when we began breeding everything we eat. The FDA is going to ban the word 'natural' from labeling because it is very misleading. It fooled YOU which was certainly not hard to do...... But thanks for letting me make a total ass of you in this public venue.
If you are talking about the Ibrahim study on Bt corn and the rat jejenum, that study--among others--has been torn to shreds by Sanchez and Parrott's 2017 review on Bt crop studies. An excerpt: "Ibrahim and Okasha (2016) evaluated the effect of GM maize on the histological structure of jejunal mucosa of adult male albino rats using different histological, immunohistochemical and morphometrical methods. Histopathological changes were claimed in the intestine. These changes are the author's interpretation of the photographs, not the interpretation of a panel of experts. No analysis of the diet was provided, so the differences, if they are real, may be due to variations in nutrients and protein content instead of GM maize per se. Furthermore, no mycotoxin content was conducted and nothing is mentioned about the origin of crops, that is no information on how the crops were grown or whether pesticides were used."

We are not a bunch of dumb dumbs. I get it... you made this video purely to try and get across that it’s not toxic to humans. People! Stop doing fucked up things just for money .
Thank you for keeping it simple. It was very helpful
Beautifully simplistic. Thanks a bunch!

What is the goal of Bt-Corn?
If it does not work on humans why there are people with BT in their blood, also why the number of people with leaky gut increased after this was GMOd.
Is bt bad to spray on cannabis that’s already flowering?
Thank you so much
I want method of analysis of BT spore present into the bio pesticide. Is anybody can send me protocol to quantify BT spore from biopesticide?
PLEASE EXPLAIN :Which medium is required for multiplication of BT

In NCERT, it's given alkaline pH of the gut solubilises the crystals, which then make the toxin active.
can you explain in more detail HOW it doesn't harm humans?

It would be neat to know how to raise Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis.
That's how I ended up at this video. I want to raise them instead of buying.

What strain of corn plants have the BT in their genes?
Proteins encoded by the gene cry1Ab controls corn borer/
You can't wash bt corn pesticides off because it is grown inside the corn.
That sounds toxic to humans then ?
@hope3761 the corporation that sells it says it is not toxic.
@@gruberjohn1 I do not trust any corporations anymore thanks They are even making lab grown meat now No thanks

Third parties are not allowed to study bt corn. Where are published studies on gmo corn exposure.
noob
Many studies are popping up about GMO and humans
Most of them are made up activist lies.

If you have unwanted Bees: BT will kill off a bee hive quick. I thought it would only kill wax moths. bee larva are killed as well
Please don't kill bees. There is a lack of bees already as it is.
BT does not kill bees or bee larvae
it doesn't harm adult intestines but what about children? why do we import organic fed pig intestines from Argentina for sausage skins?
It doesn't hurt any mammals at all, regardless of their age.
Because they don't want that organic shit in Argentina.
