But the thing is, he will have hard time reaching for Ryan, and Ryan will surely go for power blows which tank might suffer over the rounds
I've noticed Ryan, against opponents he had superior reach, he kited them so well and timed his ko blows perfectly almost and tank might struggle
Either way it's gonna be good fight but Ryan got this for sure, but if it goes distance, most likely tank wins by outfoxing Ryan like he did to poor Rolly 🤣 but idk honestly Ryan ain't Rolly that's for sure and Rolly even got Tank dominated even at some rounds 🤣

@@kinggamesallday I went back to his sparring videos in previous fights and time stamped every hooky throws and discovered that this is the only time he pivot is after throwing a left hook and one time when in the corner with a Rolly he got out of the corner
But he has two types of hooks his defensive counter hook which is very inaccurate and his offenses hook when he steps forward and that is more accurate his defensive hook misses 70% of the time

It's his defence that should be a concern. If you can't move your feet quick enough to get away from punches your head and torso movement has to be on some James Toney level for him to get out of the way of Davis' biggest punches. I can see Garcia getting stopped when the going gets really tough which I think it will.

his jabs sure got improved a lot. I am starting to think he made a right call leaving Eddy Reynoso. He looks light on his feet as well. I still see Davis as favorite, but people who say this fight will be a landslide underestimate Garcia too much
Eddie could’ve had him right as well, canelos learned more English and could’ve been teaching him still. He had all the right guys and let his pride get to him.

I ain't even a hater but critics are right to say he has no footwork. His fat trainer moved more than him in this video, he just stays stationary and throws combos.
I like Ryan but Gervonta is the much more complete fighter imo
he left eddy because he was inactive and wasn't training the gym and taking it seriously at that time so that was a bad call on his part
Think it might've been the better choice as well in hindsight. The language barrier just makes things a lot harder, not just to coach but also connect to the person more, plus you can properly coach so many guys. It just helps a lot to have a trainer that's mainly focused on you and have already built a connection with in the past as well.
