I remember me and my best friend walking through a mall in Michigan when I was like 11 or 12 and a couple guys from a local band called Somber walked up to us and handed me this cd and a TBDM demo. They were playing a show with TBDM at a tiny local club that night. I loved this and was a fan ever since, but I had no idea they would get as big as they did
This album holds a special place in my heart...was the first songs I ever heard by them in 2002. Had a friend who just happened to be vacationing in Michigan then and saw them at a local venue. He knew I loved metal and he had me check em out...been hooked ever since.
you all prolly dont care but does anybody know a method to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my password. I love any help you can offer me
@Leon Allan i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Holy shit dude, in all seriousness i would love to buy that from you, and it would remained sealed as well and would go to the collection. Please DM me, and name your price.
Struggled with BDM for a long time. Back when i was dipping my toes in the death metal waters (pretty sure this is classified as death, forgive my ignorance if im wrong on that, I know some people are sticklers about the technicalities) But yeah, Trevor was my introduction to anything remotely this heavy back then. Glad i gave them the chances they deserve, metal head to death now.
They’re melodic death metal, but unlike other melodeath bands why’re much more akin to DM so calling them “death metal” without going into detail and it would be acceptable. It’s not like a band like In Flames which you could barely really call “death metal”.
I kinda wish they didn’t do re-recordings of the first two tracks for Unhallowed, the versions on here are not only much better but also have a exclusive magic to the overall presentation of this EP, which obviously cant be recaptured (and that’s evident cuz those re-recordings are crap compared to this) this EP is, was and forever will be fucking flame 🔥♥️♥️ probably my most loved TBDM release.
"I've always said that we're melodic death metal. We are mostly influenced by Swedish bands and CARCASS. The heavy end of our sound is the American style creeping in, with some Floridian influences like MORBID ANGEL, MALEVOLENT CREATION and that kind of stuff. We've been labelled more often because of our look than our sound, which is dumb, and speaks volumes about what kind of geniuses are out there!" - Trevor Strnad If you like this kinda stuff you might wanna check out At The Gates, same sub-genre.

They're definitely a melodic death metal band that really like black metal
Absolutely awesome band... They have their own style from first records :) !
Their style is copied from Prayer for Cleansing with more At the Gates riffs lmao
@@KyryloVolkov and they do it better
this was the first song i ever heard from them. it happened to be the same day Unhallowed came out in 2003. 20 fuckin years
