local business, knows his job, knows his customer base, doing all he can in very trying times, sponsors his local team, the guy, and people like him deserve all the plaudits they get. great vid Lee
I think Tikka Masala sauce was created for the British pallet. Are there any Indian restaurants you have reviewed that are authentic Indian? I know they are hard to find
Top review , top food, got to be a 10/10 by sight. From the Condiments tray it’s defo the lime pickle for me. Nice to see the Blond Angel back, you sure nothing is going on 😉👍🏻😆😆😆
Hi Lee, if you go to India the heat of a curry has nothing to do with what it is called ie Madras, Vindaloo or Korma that is the style of that region, you just tell them how spicy you would like it, hope that helps, no idea why the UK has adopted a style with a heat rating
I was also wondering about that,in the US Indian restaurants it is also a style, not a heat level, except for Vindaloo, and the very few places that do Phaal, and I mean there really are not many places that do that nonsense.
Lee as the man who likes to look back at old telly programs and adverts. Do you remember " Goodness Gracious Me ?". Going out for an English?😂😂❤😊 Brill
I developed my taste for hot curries in England, chucking out time at the local pub was 10:30 pm in those days but the fish and chip shop across the road closed at 10:00 pm, how daft is that? However, the Indian restaurant just a bit further up the road stayed open until you were no longer hungry, and that was the start of my journey to the really hot stuff which I still enjoy to this day. The hottest curry I have ever had was at a place in Southampton, I'd already had dinner so wasn't that hungry but decided to go along with my mates for a chicken phaal or whatever but blimey, I don't know what they put in it but it was dynamite, I eventually had to admit defeat because I couldn't see the plate anymore. One of my mates reckoned it couldn't be that hot so he decided to finish mine, well, we thought we were going to have to call an ambulance, he stopped breathing at one point, but fortunately no lives were lost. When the waiter came to clear the table this lad, who was now able to speak again, asked if anybody had ever managed to finish that and the waiter replied, no sir !! What you had looked great though, perhaps you could return there with one of your curry buddies one day and assess the hot stuff?
That looked really nice guys. Those bhajis and that masala lpokes superb. Perfect red colour and the colouring doea add extra flavour despite people saying otherwise. I love covering my onion bhajis with mango chutney. Beautiful. Seems a lovely curry house. Only thing i will say is i found the deal to be a bit pricey. Here you can get the same or similar offer for about £14-15. But i am in birmingham so there's a lot more competition here. I'll give it a 9.5/10. Just deducting the .5 because of the price. Another great video both and glad you enjoyed 👌👍
It did look very nice! But they need to sort their pricing out! The sign outside said the set menu was £21.95, then he told you it was £23.95, the menu said £20.95, but you were charged the lower one of £20.95, so not sure what's going on there! 😆
I’m not really worried I do like an Indian but I also like a kebab, both curry’s looked delicious on looks the whole lot looked delicious too. So on looks alone I’d give it a 10, looks very clean and tidy as well. 🏴👍
Great vid you two. Lets have a game!…. Next time at an Indian, you can’t repeat any dish you had on this one(excluding pickles & popadoms). Can’t wait❤❤
When I was clubbing, there were no burger/kebab shops open after hrs, so we would pile into the local curry restaurant. Then would learn the dishes. I fink most youngsters now would have trouble knowing what to order, after bypassing curry for kebab/burgers. 10/10 for me, £25 each for a 3 course meal good value. The blonde bombshell ate like a duchess!
Looks absolutely delicious what a cracking place to eat after a few pieronis lol another winner of a video mate great double act to you bounce of each other Very enjoyable review . Malcolm and Elaine Kerr Beith North Ayrshire Scotland
Where's the MacMeldrew? You seem to be enjoying yourself a lot more lately. Love Indian food, though I don't go anymore. Last time I went, my friend fell down the stairs and ended up in a Korma!😂😂😂😂
Looked good. I was about to say that's not cheap when you compare it to the Indian you had in Warrington the other week. However, i did notice it said " Not Paid " on your receipt 🤔
Looks good, but I think the great price doesn't reflect how much food you had, I see the receipt didn't include the additional side of sag aloo or the 2 desserts that came with the 4th course of the coffee & mint. Do they offer those free to all punters?
Just the Chicken Tikka Masala again mate? Thought the rajasthani lamb was your new thing but I haven't seen you eat it since the first time you tried it 😁
Hello Lee and Ange. This is Pauline, I’m on a Mac that’s why my name is different. 10s all around, fabulishous food. Great fun and banter. Great blog Lee😊😊😊 ,
I'm just sat in my garden watching your video, and my neighbour must have ordered an Indian take away, as all I can smell is curry. I'm going to order now.
Chicken Tikka masala and Chicken Korma...the owner must have been wishing you had something which he could show off his chefs skills!! Anyhow, if you like it, eat it I say.😃
The food looked as lovely as Ange. Personally I'd have just order from the menu and paid more as I like me rice. Saag aloo was an excellent choice. Lee, you need to get out of your comfort zone, try a jalfrezi, you won't go back to tikka masala.
Lee you need to make your way back up to Bradford again and review International on sticker lane, recently awarded one of the best Indian restaurants in the UK!
Lovely Bumburner that Lee n Ange use the rice as a Breakwater, Saag Aloo is Lovely , The starters and main was brilliant I wouldnt Normally pay the Food and Drinks prices on a regular basis but as a Treat Quality and Service really shone through, Hopefully the same level would be for Everyone 10/10 fer me Guys😋😋🤓👄
We are in Mansfield from the 11th - 18th Sep. We want to visit an Indian restaurant that you have reviewed but you have given them all a good score. The wife loved your Waterlilly vid. She wants you to be honest with her question. "What is your favourite"?
Upside down Pineapple! 🎵"The Jungle V.I.P!!🎵😂😂 Lime pickle is my fave, but every curry house ive been to, they whip them away before the starters come out! Food looked lovely! Red for Massala yellow for Korma 😂
Wow Lee you talk about mushy peas glowing and seen from outer space, that curry was bright red 😂. It all looked great and Faz seemed like a great host too.
So Vesta 1980s to make a rice well 🙄 it would be good for you to order as you do but then ask the restaurant to present another dish that you can try on the table to see a variation and experiment too for better viewing/content
Hi Lee Ang that meal looked absolutely delicious damm Crohns I could eat that at 1 point lol.Presentation 20.10 prices were pretty reasonable as well.Thats what I miss curry nights out.great vlog with the business owner as well .This business will do well.
Went to cafe india, benidorm(about an hour and 20 from my home). Fantastic meal probably best curry i have had in spain. The staff were concerned about your health as theyd heard you had been ill
Love a good curry, make my own keema and chicken madras and make my own onion bhajis and chappatties, excellent review from both of you as always keep well and safe.
Lee, if you are going to do an honest review, there is no way you will give a negative one if you meet and socialise with the owners before you have tasted the food. It seems to be you are doing it a lot now. Obviously, they are going to go out of their way to give you special treatment as they know you are on UA-cam and a few people watch your videos. If you were a Hotel inspector, you wouldn't inform the hotel that you have arrived.
Poor guy probably thinks he's going to be national tv. I struggled to watch that "interview" with him. why make such a scene before you have even tried the food. @@iainferguson764
Get a pickle tray but only have mango chutney and mint sauce. The hubby eats the rest. You must try the chilli lounge in Huddersfield. Its the only Indian food I enjoy as they will do their food from mild as in flavoured but not spiced to very hot. The onion bhajis are to die for. My mate took some colleagues who came over from India and I found out they went back every night on their own to work their way through the menu.
Always great to see the Blonde Angel. Cracking looking curries there Lee. Both Korma and Tikka Masala are fairly mild but nice. I just prefer something a bit more spicer like beef Madras or Vindaloo. I do love a good Indian meal though. Nice devilish trick you played on Ange the mango chutney.😄👍
That all looks delicious. Those onion bahjis are nice and round. In Aus, they are sad little things. Have you been to the Karachi curry house in Neal St., Bradford? Give it a try.

Agreed-we went to Pizza Hut for the 1st time in a year. I pizza&2 drinks, it was over £38 and it wasn't that great 😶.
You won't be buying any MacMaster merch either 👎 £16.50 for a mug!!
