I remember him saying that his uncle salmon was helping a lot, along with his cousing billy bass who always had his door open, then there was his in - law margaret Pike and her neighbor sally snapper who took him in. it was a family effort that brought him back.

It was 1979 by the way when Lowell George died. It took Richie Hayward (my favorite drummer) years to get sober. He was probably hiding it from you Walter.

Walter doesn’t look too healthy. Probably a case of Hep C. I hope he gets it treated in time. Both Paul Barrere and Richie Hayward died from complications of not treating it in time.

Hard to imagine people fawning about sobriety after being sober for 37 years! I say move on man, get a life! 😂
