This 1900 historic residence is a tribute to the architectural beauty of the Queen Anne style (cousin to the Victorian) and was home to a former Italian Consulate . Diligently conserved, its stately asymmetric façade is richly embellished with brick, woodworking and a slate roof with dormers and gables, hand carved stone lintels, an array of fine windows, a two-story turret, a columned front porch plus a Juliet balcony, decorative brackets and finials and prominent chimneys. Every room reflects original integrity, and extraordinary craftsmanship integrated with luxury amenities of today. This is a unique opportunity for the new owners to enjoy all 5,628 sq. ft. of this historic home.
Examples of the home’s prolific extraordinary millwork such as ornately carved mantels, wall panels, deep moldings, built-ins, and pocket doors. Rooms are graced with transom, bay, leaded and stained-glass windows. The home formal foyer is dignified with an imposing staircase which accesses 3 levels of gracious formal and sumptuous living areas. The long-time owners have conserved every aspect of this home and thoughtfully integrated quality luxuries of today.
Situated in Historic East Walnut Hills, a neighborhood undergoing revitalization, resulting in new life for a neighborhood steeped in historic treasures, considered an upscale and vibrant urban lifestyle. And - everything that Cincinnati has to offer is also in close proximity.
At least they didn’t paint the stair case and the fireplace mantle’s. 😮
Can't believe you didn't show us the bathroom on the top floor! Beautiful home and colour schemes. When you panned through the Great Room with the wood wainscoting I felt a sense of peace and tranquility.
Pretty property, but what a shame it’s all painted and to modern for a place this pretty
THE HOUSE IS NICE, BUT TOO MODERNIZED...IT WOULD TAKE TOO MUCH $$$ TO RE DO IT. THEY PAINTED THE WOODWORK SMH
I'm a fan of traditional reverence
Painted woodwork in Victorians is an act of vandalism!
The music is amazing and the house is beautiful!
Very nice beautiful home
This is one of the most sympathetic renovations I've ever seen. fabulous. All it needs is a garden!
This is a beautiful house
Oh gosh that is so beautiful. The woodwork is gorgeous. That last attic bedroom would be the one I'd pick lol
They sure like green.
Beautiful
Gorgeous! Except for the apartment building next to it!! Ugh
@@MrBettyBubble that’s better then lol. I’ve driven past this house. I knew the outside was beautiful but the inside is just amazing
Bellísima!
Such a wonderful home,loved the music too🖐🏾💕
Why is all the woodwork painting White? It is nice but there are a lot of details that have been covered up
how much I grew up in east walnut hills
Absolutely gorgeous. One thing, though: Where the heck are the curtains, drapes, and blinds?! I'd feel like a fly in a bottle or a goldfish in a bowl in that house. I guess if you're an exhibitionist, or never like to run around in a state of nature, but jeez! Over exposed. Otherwise, nicely done, not a restoration, but a nice update that hasn't robbed the house of too much character. I could live there - with the additions of sheers, drapes, and Venetian blinds. 😉
Good point! It was staged and the new owner could do the window treatments of their choice.
The home is amazing.❤️
JUst gorgeous I'm sure this house has been sold
Yes.
This is creeping me out. I can’t finish
It is the music. I hope you get a chance to read the comment I posted as it is what I see is wrong with this listing.
Do you have any before pics?
These are the kind of homes that you're afraid to get too comfortable in that you wouldn't mess something up
Modern furniture in a beautiful vintage house.
Excellent video even if it’s not completely functional. Your music pairing is excellent and in keeping with the stateliness of the house. I actually liked the music more than the house. Too bad about that tennis court but such is the price of “progress”. The price is a smidgen compared to where I live.
Nice. Has this house sold?
What worth?
alot of house
Did this house?
Beautiful house. I would caution against using a lockbox on the front door. It's a blatant signal that the house is unoccupied and an invitation to thieves and homeless people.
Thank you. The new owners have already moved in so we don't have to worry about that.
Nice but to many steps for 7 mill I want land
Whoever decided to ruin this masterpiece should be publicly horse whipped.
The interior is kinda disappointing especially the rooms!
Crime and murder or get robbed!
Why do you think so? Just interesting, maybe u right 🤨
I think it's the music. I posted a somewhat detailed comment about what I thought was wrong with this listing & the video.
The house has lovely structure, but this business of people PAINTING Victorian woodwork must cease and desist. It never looks appropriate in the house (yes, I know some people in the era painted their woodwork, and it looked ghastly from the word go), The first project would HAVE to be completely stripping the woodwork and restoring it to proper wood tones--which would not be a cheap fix!
People--remove your hands from the paintbrushes and the white paint--and if you can't manage that, then stay away from Victorians!
I don't think you did this listing any favors by pairing it with this hauntingly, depressing piece of music. It gives off a somewhat sad & possible creepy vibe as if something terrible happened there. Also, I would be concerned there would be security issues. For the amount of money you're asking, one might expect a tall wrought-iron fence with an automatic gate to the garages. P.S. The kitchen design is lacking in functionality, storage & counter space with electrical outlets. (Never saw any laundry facilities.) Maybe next time lose the music & try talking while explaining all 🙄 of the features and benefits of what appears to be an otherwise lovely home. ✌️🌻
The music is fine. The discomfort you're feeling is because this house hates the interior designer that . . . did that to it.
Nice must be a pain to clean😁😁😁
