Gotta' say, the way you portrayed both the first and second levels was STELLAR. Love how you took the original concept and added some real SPICE to it, especially that underground scene. 10/10, this almost makes me want to play Genshin Impact.

The sneaking part is intimidating.
I dunno who this Lucas is but I like to think that they and the horror entity is in a sort of frenemy sorta relationship where they try to prank each other by increasingly wierd and nonsensical ways.
Whereas the creepepasta Mario guy try to scare them, Lucas does everything in their power to confuse and frustrate him, such as turning into Keqing from Genshin Impact for absolutely no reason.
Basically Lucas is some kid trapped in the game itself. Normally, he adorns Luigi as his avatar
