This was the very first CD I bought. All my friends in school were buying Nirvana and other bands that were already played non stop on the radio. I stand by my decision.
@@caseydawson1978I still have my BMG catalogs! They didn't have the biggest Metal selection, but I bought INNER THOUGHT's 'Worldy Separation' from them, which changed my life.

The 90s itself was filled with that same transcendental atmosphere. 🥲 The world couldn't wait to experience the promise of Y2K and beyond… and look where we are now. 💀
I remember starting Resident Evil 1 on the PlayStation, and popping in this CD in my Sony Discman, and jamming while running thru the mansion killing zombies and mutated frogs...this whole album matches up with that game very well.....great times.
The day i lost my job a freind of mine loaned me the CD, this was my first experience with WZ, got me out of my funk and the very next day i was back there looking for a new job.
J has always been one of my all-time favorite guitarists. I haven't the words to describe how much I love his playing. He inspired the shit outta me. If any of you are new to White Zombie, be sure to listen to La Sexorcisto. That album is equally magnificent.
Say what ya want about Rob Zombie as a solo act but his time with White Zombie was where he really shined. This album has always been my favourite all tracks are killer.
My buddy and I in Texas would blast this in his black VW bug, whole back seat and rear window fill with house speakers on two 1000watt amps... mind blowing cool sound lol

This and Hellbilly Deluxe are great. I used to really dig La Sexorcisto (and still do) but Rob & co. didn't strike gold until '94. The Sinister Urge (2001, Rob Zombie) is decent, it has some alright tracks, but generally stick to White Zombie's Movie Soundtrack tunes (there's like 5), AC2K and RZ's Hellbilly. Mike Riggs (formerly of Prong - good 90's metal band), who played guitar for Rob from '98 to '02, started a project called Scum Of The Earth - a little more of a rock-ier take on Rob's sound up until then - 'Blah Blah Blah, Love Songs For The New Millennium' was released in 2004 during Rob's movie-making music-abandonment period, which honestly should've been permanent.
One of those rare albums where every song rules
