- In today's video we install a Audi S flat bottom wheel with r8 style paddle shifters! Would Definitely recommend this as a first interior mod! The paddle shifters were plug in play with car and required no wiring. Super easy install just a little tedious with the clips!

If you hit the paddles to go into manual mode, you can get back into D by clicking the shifter into sport, it'll skip sport and go straight back to D, saves you a clunk on the gear selector

The steering wheel has had zero issues so far. I have a buddy who has had this wheel for over 2 years and it’s still going strong.
idk what year your A3 is but mine is a 2018. been looking into getting paddles as well. Did you have to do any coding at all for this new wheel or was it just straight up plug and play?

This is an oem wheel, just with new leather. They buy used stearing wheels for dirt cheap and put new leather on it and sell it as new.
How are the controls on the wheel wired up? I’m trying to do this same swap

It’s a great upgrade for the money!

Hey will this work on 2018 A3 tech premium fwd? So it’s plug n play, no coding required? I noticed on your old steering wheel you had a NAV buttton like mine but the new one doesn’t have one. Did all the buttons work correctly from the jump? Any issues you came across yet? I’m still skeptical on pulling the cord on one. Any feedback will help a lot. Thanks man!
So did you replace the airbag as well? The link you posted does not fit on my car like you claimed. It’s a 8Y steering wheel and but an 8V. The way you remove your existing airbag looks like mine and is not the same and the steering wheel you installed. 8V is a 5 3/4 “ bag and 8Y is 4 3/4”. How did you did that?

How do I connect the paddles to the steering wheel? I don't have a cable for the paddles because they are missing as standard
It was just plug in play for me no wiring required. What car do you have?

Depends on the one. Some of the newer a3s do like 2019 and up.
