- Today I'm Forging SHARP Golden KUNAI out of Rusty BOLT, it was challenging to forge a bolt into shape of Kunai but I made it and I hope you will enjoy the video and give it thumbs up.

Process I follow for making KUNAI:
o. Forging the shape of kunai took me 3 days also I don't have power hammer so I did all the forging using hand hammering.
o. After hammering I used grinder and belt sander for rough grinding and give a shape according to template.
o. Rotary cutter helped me to remove iron and made space for brass casting.
o. I used wax to make a mold for handle then cast it into brass.
o. After that i used grinder and belt sander to make blade bevel and different grits of sand papers to sharpen blade.
o. I did hand filing to remove extra brass form handle and used sand paper to shine it.

While we were doing the project I thought it was stupid (mostly because I wanted to be working with the metal first hand, not carving wax for weeks), but watching videos like these makes me miss that class so much

To be honest whenever I see these types of videos i always want to get on the game a township tale on VR because they have a place to be able to smith any type of weapon and i always loved that part of the game thank you for making these types of videos.
I can imagine in some sort of apocalypse this guy could take a random piece from like a refrigerator or something and make a whole katana to protect himself with

Definitely beautiful work but the ring on the bottom should be smaller imo it would definitely allow the top to be heavier to lead the way when thrown like a dart

Fun fact: the kunui was originally a garden tool the reason they were used has a weapon is because lots of people had them just laying around
Also, the Japanese banned the usage of weapons for peasants on all islands on Japan, including Okinawa. That's why nunchucks and sai are weapons for example.

I'm not one to correct people, but the kunai was not a thrown weapon. It was mostly use to dig holes in walls or as a stabing weapon when needed.
