So, I've been away from cubing for about 3 years. The last cubes I've had were the aolong and auso. This morning I thought I might see a cubing video and then this happened. Wtf? Why do cubes have magnets now? What should I do/ watch to catch up? + Give me cube suggestions pls ...

I just got the Gan X and I can't find good lube for it, it just gets really sticky and weird, i've tried 5 different lubes after cleaning it out every time.
I tried the cube at a recent comp, in my opinion the gan xs is more controllable while the mgc is faster. The comp was sponsored by yj if your wondering how i got to try it

I’m hesitant from buying it is the constant complaints/negatives about the lockups. I’m worried that I’ll regret getting it just because of that :/. Is it worth waiting?
What do you think about this compared to the yulong v2 m I have that and I am thinking of upgrading but i'm not sure. Also what is the difference between elasticity and tension? ( Sorry for nooby question)

Magnets help the cube to be more stable and helps in accurate turning and aligning of the pieces
To get back into cubing I recommend you get the MF3RS2 M (M for Magnetic).For more high end cubes with a higher price I recommend the GTS3M
